1. I used it on Saturday night
2. I've got mine. It is killer! https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151459783894584.1073741830.657669583&type=1&l=3eb655c0d8
3. This is my band The Synthetix playing live last Saturday 18/05/13
4. Not a Rick as it doesn't have dual truss rods. Most likely to be a late 70's / Early 80's Japanese copy. Some of which were really good!
5. We added Duchess to our set that we played at the Golden Lion, Clifton, Beds the other night
6. I use Polytune mini on my pedal board and use a normal Polytune in my work as a guitar tech. In my experience they are as accurate at Peterson and completely blow the Boss TU-2 and TU-3 out of the water. I don't use them on Poly mode though, ever.
7. As the title suggests I'm trying to work the song out and having trouble with some parts. Anyone got a bass tab for it please?
8. I would expect wear and tear like this; http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://www.larslehmann.com/uploads/pics/preci78.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.larslehmann.com/equipment.html&h=556&w=818&sz=134&tbnid=eM5opEDQJa10FM:&tbnh=90&tbnw=132&zoom=1&usg=__KMKcGlV3Wh8sxu-KhQkRzIyKdGk=&docid=zoxEnOJK3i63dM&hl=en&sa=X&ei=wd-0ULCnNIHR0QXegoHwDA&sqi=2&ved=0CD8Q9QEwAg&dur=2213 Note the darkening in the headstock lacquer.
9. There is no wear and tear on it though. No darkening of the headstock. No bucklerash or visible scratches and dings. No fret wear... Decals are easy enough to buy.
10. I have my doubts; http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170949636794&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:GB:1123
11. Hi, sorry. There's not enough info to give you the definitive answer to your question. The action is set by the relationship between the neck bow, the nut, the bridge and the angle of the neck. For instance has the neck pocket been shimmed?
12. If someone brought this job to me I would drill it, use a hardwood dowel, cut it off and file it flush then re-pilot drill for the screw. If you are lucky the repair will be hidden by the strap peg and the felt. Use wood glue, making sure to wipe off the excess witha damp cloth.
13. Would it sound big-headed to say I was at the gig AND the London Premier? Seriously it is a good film. Certainly the vocals have been repaired as the feedback which was prevelant throughout the gig is no longer there... I now own the Blu-Ray package and am enjoying it again. My favourite bit is Jason going crazy at the end of Rock n Roll and the amazement on the faces of the guys
14. I had problems yesterday. Good to know it wasn't me being stupid...
15. I've sent my spec to my friend who can get me the deal. Have to see what price he can get and if it is within our budget. Will let you all know how it goes
16. One of my clients plays a P bass and a Jazz and doesn't cover the bridges with an ashtray. He plays quite aggresively. This is what happened during a recent gig; http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.28712004583.39479.657669583&type=3#!/photo.php?fbid=10151099044329584&set=a.28712004583.39479.657669583&type=3&theater Yes, that is blood!!!! On my custom made Rothers Punk bass I have the ashtray bridge cover on. I think it just improves the aesthetics.
17. Our lead singer owns the PA as we only use it for vocal and to link in the monitors. The drummer owns a powered monitor and I have recently bought a slave to work directly from that.
18. I have a jpeg of it, but the uploader won't accept the file for some reason. If you go to http://www.configurator.sandberg-guitars.de/ and paste this configuration number into the box you should see what I see; 15.2.14.0.0.1.3.1.5.1.2.1.0
19. My good lady is looking to buy me a nice pressie for a significant birthday coming up soon. Been looking around. Found a nice 1978 Ric, but it was out of my price range. However - A good friend of mine has offered me the chance to have a custom Sandberg made at a significantly discounted price. Has anyone got any experience of Sandberg's? Anyone got experience of their custom service? I wanted to attach an image, but the uploader won't let me for some reason....
20.
we can travel happy to pay say a 10% of the gig money as a finders fee we just want to gig to appreciative audiences
Have a look at our Lemonrock page for venues we play in. http://www.lemonrock.com/thesynthetix Feel free to contact them from the details you find there. Another contact is Andrew at Soundarc. He'sa local promotor in Herts and Beds. Here is his facebook page; http://www.facebook....oundarc?fref=ts I wouldn't dream of taking a percentage from a fellow musician
21.
thanks for that, website here http://neilyoungtributeband.co.uk/ we r finding it really tough to get gigs
Will try and get to a gig sometime. Unfortunately for me you seem to play on the coast of Essex. If you play this side, or into Cambs, Herts etc I'll be there
22.

I totally love this! Big Neil Young fan. Where can I find your live dates? Would really like to come and see you play
23. Can't believe the butcher job he's done on the nut!
24. Our guitarist's talented young son has just done this with our version of Turning Japanese by the Vapors
