    Probably just a personal feeling that could be zeitgeist - been through a few boutique basses but still go back to trusty old squier jazz bass. Seems to be the winner. That said, I did own an 80’s Smith 6 string that sounded incredible, but couldn’t ever get used to the 6 strings.

    Peavey Mixer/Amp very good condition - hasn't been used for a while but I just tested it and every channel works fine. 6 Mono and 2 Stereo channels, has phantom power and stereo phono inputs. Separate outputs and send for monitors. Good piece of kit but heavy so collection only.

    I own one of these amps and I can tell you that they have a beautiful sound and enough volume to do most gigs.

    Made in Japan, well used with plenty of scratches (see photos). Plays and records really well. No whammy bar. I’ve used it for home recording and it sounds fine, good variety of sounds. Only my playing lets it down.

    Previous owner stuck a piece of tape over it, not sure why. Maybe that’s where they rested their thumb. I’ve left it on.

    Mike Pope preamp, imported from the States and was installed professionally in my Watwick Streamer and dis-installed professionally. Volume, Balance, Stack Knob (Bass and Treble) Stack Knob (Lo and Hi mid). Amazing sound, 18v.or 9v. Extra battery in the Streamer fitted in the control cavity without having to alter anything. Can work with other basses, of course.

    Great bass, has been toured and gigged since 1990 but am using a different bass now. plays perfectly, set up beautifully and is really a gem, but want to move it on without getting sentimental. has replacement neck pickup, jack socket and battery cover. comes with tgi extreme gig bag. UK sales only.
