    Probably just a personal feeling that could be zeitgeist - been through a few boutique basses but still go back to trusty old squier jazz bass. Seems to be the winner. That said, I did own an 80’s Smith 6 string that sounded incredible, but couldn’t ever get used to the 6 strings.

    Peavey Mixer/Amp very good condition - hasn't been used for a while but I just tested it and every channel works fine. 6 Mono and 2 Stereo channels, has phantom power and stereo phono inputs. Separate outputs and send for monitors. Good piece of kit but heavy so collection only.

    Made in Japan, well used with plenty of scratches (see photos). Plays and records really well. No whammy bar. I’ve used it for home recording and it sounds fine, good variety of sounds. Only my playing lets it down.

    Previous owner stuck a piece of tape over it, not sure why. Maybe that’s where they rested their thumb. I’ve left it on.
