1. I would do but I think I upset him! When he answered, I answered him with a message meant for somebody else! Basically, when you put his answer and my reply to it together, I ripped the p*ss out of the bass! Weil, another unhappy yank to the list...
2. The reply... A glare. The bass looks almost mint. I'm happy to do 1250 plus actual shipping cost if you pay a PayPal invoice. Are you in the UK?
3. I've mailed him asking what the mark above the pickup is... Will post what he says if he replies.
4. Gareth just bought a bass off me. No messing, fast payment and hassle free deal. No worries here lads... Cheers Dunc
5. Excellent DI pedal. Emulates the sound of the World Tour Series well. Like new with power supply. Price includes UK postage. Can post pics but it looks just like a stock photo!
6. Oh no. I'm going to have to sell something...
7. Tried reporting again after the sale to say the buyer has been conned... Not holding my breath though!
8.
About a week, tops.
I thought as much...
9. I've been hunting down the 'right' basses for a years now but it seems the hunt is over... I'm sort of involved in two projects which I need different basses for. One is - a bunch of old mates hammering out Clash songs. I hunted for the 'right' P bass for years and eventually realised my JV is the 'one' and I cant fault it. I was using it as a back up bass! It truly is a magnificent instrument. That replaced my 79. I got a really nice Squier tele bass delivered off here today and that is more than adequate for a backup. So, that has replaced the JV. All problems solved. The other project is an originals band that I need at least 22 frets for. This project has gone on since 1987! We hardly ever play but I suppose its grown on me that much that I still keep on going back to it every couple of years! I suppose its part of me now. Anyway, after years of chopping and changing, I recently managed to get hold of a Westone Thunder 3 again (I had originally used one with them but stupidly sold it). So, first bass is now well and truly sorted and I also have an Aria SB-1200 as a backup (which is probably a bit ott to be honest). I'm more than happy with them but the question still looms - How long will it last...? I cant help but think I'm fooling myself...
10.
Very wrong! Reported Edit 2: I have to say they are the nastiest tuners I've ever seen
They look like they've been battered on by a cooper... Not battered by a copper... but you never know...
11. It looks as good as a Westfield with a wrinkly decal though...
12. If I come up with the cash I'll need a good hiding place for it...
13.
But he's throwing in a tuner!
Bet it's the towel next
14. Worth every penny. Fabulous combos.. Good luck.
15.
How much would the bass cost to courier, just out of interest? Thanks
Hi, I'm not 100% but DCS will ship for £13.90. I'm sure other couriers would ship for less though. Cheers
16.
I've asked if he'd post - waiting!
The temptation was great. I nearly bought it myself to collect... I cant have every bass though. Thats why I put it on here!!!! I had one a bit back, they are really good.
17. No time for this, got to put the lunch on, meet the mrs...
18. Cracking basses. Even has a case... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SCHECTER-BASS-GUITAR-/221577007637?pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Guitars_CV&hash=item339704d215
19.
Why u selling it?thanx
Hi, I was hoping it had a slimmer neck profile. That doesn't mean it's a baseball bat though!
20. Just picked this up. Its Sky Blue (I think). Very well made. Unbelievably so for the money. Tried it through a Promethean combo and it sounds really well. Very jazz like. High gloss finish. Not light but not too heavy either. Quite impressive really. As well made if not better than a lot of Mex. The necks not as thin as a Fender jazz profile, its a bit of a cross between a J and a P. There's a few chips on the body but altogether its a very nice well made bass. Collect or arrange a courier. Possibility of meeting up. I head up the M6 to the South Lakes quite a bit and on Saturday daytime I'm in Harrogate. Or meet locally for a bit of fuel money... May trade for Boss ME-50/50B

Yeah, I think I would gig with one if my JV wasn't available...
22. Last bump, will listen to offers but if it doesn't go by Saturday evening I'm going to keep it. She still hasn't shouted so I guess I'm safe to do so!
