4.
Basically is this pickup going to give me more growl and volume than whats already on my squier cv 60's pbass?
A couple of reviews here: http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews...age+P-Bass/10/1 Will.
 5.
At the risk of appearing as a total numpty - what's the pointof a short scale bass? Is it just for people with lickkle fingers? - or is there a specific tonal reasoning (or some other subtedlty?) Where do you get strings for it and what does it sound like? Very curious and intrigued!
Yes --- Small hands youngsters, Ladies or even for a guitarist who plays bass occasionally. Sounds like --- Different short scales have there own sounds, Gibson EB0 very muddy deep sound, Fender Mustang precision like And of course as with any bass strings make a big difference. Most String Manufacturers make different string lengths i.e. Short (30" )--- Medium ( 32" )--- long ( 34" ) and you can even get extra long! If you are in the Leeds area anytime you are welcome to come and try one of mine! Withdrawn from sale
 6.
Being an L2 owner myself, I can vouch for the quality and playability of James' (Landing owner) shorties. And with gorgeous looks to boot. Actually Will, I much prefer yours than mine (it's the rosewood neck you see) The price......... man, that's a steal. But you are creating a low-price market precedence.... .....
Hi Kostas Good to hear from another Landing owner. They are a fantastic Bass, really outstanding workmanship! and it plays and sounds like a dream. I agree its too cheap, in fact I am considering withdrawing it from sale! Regards Will.
 7.
Will did you get it off a bloke in the Midlands (specifically Leicestershire)? My mate Matt had one of these that he'd got direct from Landing. It was a lovely bass to play.
Yes I believe he was called Matt -- He actually brought it up to Leeds for me when he was working nearby! Im having second thoughts about selling this one!!!!!!! Will.
 8.
These basses are so coool, I've never heard of them before. 2x18, did you order yours from the U.S?
Hi spoonman I bought it from a guy in the U.K. that had bought it new from Landing ! I was looking for one of these or a Birdsong for ages! Will.
 9. Thanks Guys --- PMs replied! Will.
 10. Those quoted "serial no,s" are the Patent no,s and the Fender logo looks too close to the edge of the neck to me! Will.
 11. Yes Still for sale. Will.
 12. Take your 6 way extension out of the rack and keep it away from the amp and recievers! Its probably the adaptor transformers that are too close to your other gear. Will.
 13. Sold to wayne58 !!!!!
 14. Could be a good deal for somebody local! ( not mine by the way ) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HOHNER-THE-JACK-BASS...=item2c523239d0

 16.
I've got a set of lightly used (on fretless only, so no little dinks will have appeared). I can ask my 'secret' supplier about a new set on Monday if you like - they're smuggled in especially for me via Columbia hidden inside crates of heroin so as not to arouse suspicion.
-----Nice one Howard

 18.
My 62 reissue came with a period hardcase. That was in 2006, I don't know if they still do the case. This is an absolutely beauty. At this price I expect it will sell quite quickly. Shame about the case though.
Its still listed to include the Case, Vintage style Lead and Strap -- plus candy! I think all the current USA models except Highway,s include hard case. Will.
 19.
I picked this up from eBay for a project, but all projects are on-hold while I work over a Travis Bean. It transforms normal teles (or any guitar that uses the same scale length) into a true baritone with a 27.78" scale. I think it's the cheapest way to get a decent quality baritone. It's one of these: http://www.allparts.uk.com/online-shop/all...ele-p-2655.html It looks like it's only been very lightly-used. It comes without tuners or nut (although it has had both fitted at some point). Rosewood board. £60 posted to the UK.
PMed

 21.
so glad it's short scale, I wish they'd done a mustang long scale... Lake Placid Blue, filth. Best of luck.
They used to make a Fender Bullet bass that was like a larger Mustang! Will.
 22.
Lovely bass this. Very intrigued with short scale recently. Good luck with the sale
Thanks TPJ You are welcome to come and try out any of my Short scales --- No obligation and might give you an idea of how you would get on with them. Will.
