1. COUNTRYMAN BASS UKELELE ( With spare set of new unused Aquila strings ) In Lovely condition and gets some good reviews You ll either love it or hate it , personally I love it , does a nice upright ish impersonation , has great tonal flexibility via the onboard Eq and even has its own tuner Had no real tuning stability issues with it and played nicely with either pick or fingerstyle ( using a fairly light touch , as the strings are very err flexy ) Price includes Mainland Postage via 48 Hr Any Q s please let me know Cheers Gary
2.
Ahhh! Takes me back! One of the first PA's a band I was in had those 'lovely' WEM PA cabinets:
" Lovely " haha ! Just found a pair of these in my garage ( what the heck does one do with them ? ) Oh how suffered in days gone by using stuff like this Gary
3. Some things leave you feeling cold , this is one of those times .... Very sad Gary
4. OOPS Thanks and Cant seem to remove it ? If a Mod could assist in my erroneous posting Please ? Apologies Gary ( slightly hamfisted )
5.
Maybe, they both have unique functions. The VB has pretty decent upright modelling, the synth section is much more comprehensive and the routing and effects sections are more independently controllable. The GR has PCM tones, the VB does not. The bass to MIDI on the GR is much better. It's horses for courses really, depends what you need and how you're going to use it.
Absolutely this ! I seem to have a better " feel " of the original Vbass Gary
6. Cool Handmade 4 X True Bypass Loops ( Info via Jono from when he sold it , hope its ok to use ) £35 No Longer in production www.loooper.com 4 X True Bypass Loops - each with a rocker switch that can kick in : Loop 1 Momentary Kill Switch / Stutter Loop 2, 3 and 4 are separate feedback loops Basically : put a pedal in the loop and when feedback mode is engaged the signal is repeatedly fed back into that pedal ( bonkers ) Delays do more crazy oscillations . Modulation pedals can make chirps and other bird noises , some pedals do nothing . some do other crazy stuff Stutter and feedback can be turned off via rocker switches leaving a normal 4 loop true bypass pedal Loop 1 has a RED Led Loop 2 3 and 4 Have Blue LEDS 9volt in ( no batteries ) standard Boss IIRC Price is posted Mainland UK via 48 Hour Any Q s let me know Cheers Gary

10. Thank Chaps ! Bumping with an added AMP incentive / Deal .... ......... Take it away ! Gary
11. S2 s are fabulous basses Ade as are most Statii Think what Mrs Ade would say is check the string spacing and probably satisfy the Stingray urge first :-) I don't have a problem switching between 4 s , 5 s or 6ers , but spacing if too tight I do find a pain ( helps that I'm rubbish and don't give a * if I miss a note either ) Best bass I ever owned was Status S2 6 string , too good for me by miles when I had it but on reflection the one I shouldn't have got rid of , incredible set up , tone monster and looker to boot If you need to " try " a 5 string Status with 18mm and 34 " scale headless ( not S2 , unfortunately ) drop me a pm and I'm sure I can sort something out Remember bass is a disease and careful with humidity in that airing cupboard ;-) Cheers Gary
12. Looks like a nicely modded old P Those pickups are bothering me ( closer pic maybe , to identify, and plate removal to see underneath ?) Maybe someone else knows what they are Any specific trades ? Weight ( approx ) GLWTS Cheers Gary
13. Been very happy with my PRC made LB30 ( currently on its way overseas ) Very well put together and better , dare I say than a UK made LB550 I have Surprisingly loud with a good inherent tone , easy to dial in warm rich deep Ruby Tubes supplied as standard I think , so some easy swapping to be done Gigged with an acoustic/folk Inc a drummer on brushes , sounded great through an orange (OBC ) and (SP12 ) Long time since I played through a B15 but with similarities iirc In terms of cab , it's looks and performance ( ideally it would be in the flip top arrangement ) for aesthetics , or something vintage ( y ) Matching cabs / cloth always get a big vote from me , so maybe rework the MAG to match LB30 thumbs up here and no qualms re build / quality ( everything KiOgon says above ) Hope That Helps Also to add , it's a very saucy little amp for guitar too ( if that's your thing ) Cheers Gary
14. FWIW Marc Tried halfs a few times over the years Not for me at all , didn't like the feel ( believe ive tried Groundwound and halfs from Daddario , GHS , status and another I cant remember ) A bit of my wants to like them but Roundwounds just work and potential marking on a fretboard is a small price for tone / playibilty Im going to say that you absolutely have to try Labella white ( either gold or copper ) They are superb IMHO , sound great , look great, feel great , on my recently sold fretless 6 they were the total nuts . BD have them in stock ( no affiliation ) I remember Gareth ( WalBassist ? ) making a comparison so have a looksee ATM ive sold the bass I had them on and only have them on a short scale EUB atm ( 30" scale ) but let me know if you want a feel ( ooer ) or look Cheers Gary
