  14. Yep, it certainly was! And I quote from Mr Goodfellow... "But Carmel, from The Style Council, used one of my basses at Live Aid in 1985, a bass I made in my downstairs flat. That was the third or fourth bass I'd ever made and it had a Fender-ish headstock. But because he was left-handed, I couldn't play the bloody thing!"
  15. The song needed a 5 for the bass-line and was recorded with a 5. No big mystery. He also had a 5 string StingRay when that album was recorded and that features on a number of tracks on Guaranteed. He ordered both a 4 and 5 StingRay in 1989-90.
  16. They might be the old Superwound Groundwound (Halfwound) set from 80s/early 90s...the winding colours used to match the packet colour and they were in a yellow packet as I recall.
