Ello, Been thinking a lot lately about changing the volume and tone controls on my Jazz for the stack knob configuration, I like the idea of the separate tones for each pick up. I came across one site but wondered if there was the same sort of service in the UK. I really need to get my CIJ 62 done, I've only had it a few months and already it's wearing to the point that the odd note will choke rather than sustain or breath, think I'll keep using super glue, works well on my USA.

Nice one 2wheeler, balls of steel to go to a jazz jam night, not just a plain and simple jam night but a jazz one!!!!! and your first time playing in front of people. Magic!

Mine marks, it's rock hard it's just super glue, about 6 tubes. The marking ( on my bass, don't know about HG Thor ) doesn't effect playability at all, it's weird, my board is looking a bit rough lately if you hold it in a certain light but it's still really smooth and even...odd!

It'd be the biggest book in the world.

Almost forgot, if you order do it by phone rather than online, for some reason delivery is £6 online, it was £1.95 delivery by phone....weird!

Just took a look at the System Three site, they offer pigment for their epoxy, that's got to be the next big epoxy thing, unless it's already being done, be good to get some trippy, experimental psychedelic boards I reckon

Mudbucker, yep a big block of epoxy, I didn't have the switch on mine but it was black metal, out of line with the strings as you say but sounded the business
