Hmmm I have the book.. Unfortunately mine didnt come with a CD.. Must hunt that down one of these days! lol
Ha! a potential customer :brow: No, mine didn't come with the CD either, just thought I'd do it as a Billy package We could talk about a Basschat Bargain Bin Price if ya like. I suspect it'll be with me for ages, last time I tried shifting something to do with Billy ( a Pearce BC1 ) took me ages

Aye, tad expensive but still a lovely bass.

Billy Sheehan The Talas Years. Double Album ( 1 Disc ) Studio and Live. Good Condition Tablature Book for Studio Album. Good Condition. This has to be my favourite Billy era, both studio and Live are awesome, good old Pearce BC1 distortion and a Fender P bass. I've just seen this on Amazon for up to £56, beyond a joke if you ask me. Wouldn't mind trading really, a couple of straps with locks, or a decent stand, or some 62 stack knobs with a plate, I'd consider lots of things really. Put some pics up if anybody wants to see the album and book. cheers Jase.

What pick up do you have in it?
10 times? Once through with less than 5 mistakes does it for me!
So you're saying you get the jist of what you're learning and let it develop from there?

Practice is tough though, it can be real hard work when you have to take some of your playing apart because you realise you're not quite cutting it in a few areas, it's hard to try and apply the things you're learning in a way that's accessible to the listener.

Most memorable instruments you've played?
Jase replied to nobodysprefect's topic in General Discussion
Mine was an upright bass which was sitting in a skip, the person who owned it had just sold me his Trace GP7. He didn't mind at all when I asked if I could take the bass, it needed a few minor repairs the bridge, board and one of the tuners had snapped, whipped it down to Dave Dearnley in Cardiff. When I had it back I couldn't leave it alone, couldn't play it either the most physical and hardest thing to play, unreal......I sold it. Last I heard it was being used at a jam night, sorting out the men from the boys -
I've just read the whole of this thread, and have purchased myself a set of ER-20s, and i intend to have a right rant at any band member that dares to take the p*ss. I must admit, i did fork out a whole £1.50 more than i really needed to, so that i could get some that have blue outside ends.... When i was younger, i had a hole in my left eardrum from repeated ear infections (i got one every time i got a cold) and couldn't go swimming because of this, (I got it surgically repaired a few years ago, but I'm still not fully trusting enough to submerge my head ). But sticking my finger into my right ear when watching telly or whatever, i can really notice the difference, so i think it's best i don't let my hearing get any worse.
They're really good the ER20'S, I felt a little isolated when I first started using them but then everything was a lot clearer and I don't blink if the drummer decides he's going to crack the snare when we're setting up

Thursday night, The Harp Inn Mountain Ash. Odd little gig, we should have brought our lights with us, nothing like playing in a dark little corner We had volume complaints too, which was weird because the guitarist had changed his valves and the amp wasn't performing very well ( a loss in power ) but we took it down a little, don't mind doing that if it means we can come back and we also had some requests for Bat Out Of Hell Also tried my new Hartke strings, a bit light and soft for me, think I'll go back to Pro Steels.
But you can't criticise Janek. He's a proffesional musician and writes in a magazine. He farts Brut and pisses champagne. We are honored to have him speak (down) to us mere mortals.
Give it a rest mate. We get the picture......it seems to be one of a clown.
I'm not sure what you're getting at? What does my Avatar have to do with anything? Your brave enough to infer that someone here is a tosser, but won't openly say that its me. I've got no issue with being called a tosser, it happens often enough. I'm just trying to figure out which posts you think have been written to deliberately wind people up?? Do share.
Don't think it's because you wind people up in your posts, maybe it isn't constructive.....I dunno, just my opinion.
There was an element of sarcasm to the Steve Lawson post. Re-read it. Are you telling me you didn't pick up on it the first time round???
Too small an element I'm afraid, I missed it.
