  3. If it was mine I'd put it on ebay and make it someone else's problem. Sorry that I couldn't be more help.
  4. Pick Up The Pieces — Average White Band
  5. Here, There and Everywhere — the Beatles
  6. I was intending to participate in the gear abstinance challenge this year after buying countless basses and guitars last year, however I've just returned home from picking up a lovely secondhand 'Worn Ebony' Epiphone Casino in mint condition at a bargain price. I'll try to abstain from buying any more this year.

  10. I briefly owned a Bond B3 Theremin a few years ago after finding it at a steal in the window of my local Cash Converters. I played about with it for a few weeks then flipped it on ebay for a decent profit. It was great fun playing the bond but it was obvious that it required a lot more dedication than I was willing to put in to be able to make anything other than space alien whoopy woo sounds. It looks like this one is designed to enable more useful sounds to be made lot easier. It would have been even better if there was some kind of filter on the control panel though. I have a friend who is very much into this kind of thing so I sent him the link when it came up on instagram yesterday. With a bit of luck he'll order one so I'll be able to have a go on it.

  20. Lady Grinning Soul — David Bowie
  21. I Wanna Be Your Dog — Iggy & The Stooges
  22. I'm surprised no one's done a double tribute to Dire Straits and Chris Rea. "What are your plans for the evening?" "Dire Rea"
  23. Indeed
  24. That's probably the danger with a tightly set concept. If I do get the idea off the ground I might change it so the band would do covers of any genre/era we fancy doing, but start off with punky disco covers so we don't get painted into a corner. Also I'd probably want to use my Boss SY-1 & AW-3 pedals on certain songs which would make it sound a bit outside the 70s punk style.
