The bass balls has a couple of trimpots inside to adjust the range and resonance of the effect, but the mooer bass sweeper is the same thing, but has a couple of extra knobs for these parameters, so that might be an option. -

I currently have a spectracomp on my board, but before buying that I used to use the Behringer copy of the Boss LMB-3. I've recently been able to buy a real LMB-3 in mint condition at a very good price so will have some fun seeing which I prefer.

I'm very tempted by the purple squier vi. I wonder whether it could be concealed within a mustang bass hard case.... I'd need a set of LaBella bass vi flats (currently £75 from amazon) so it won't be cheap but I do already have a spare purple strap which would go nicely with it.

The purples ones were first exclusive to Chicago Music Exchange, and are now also exclusive to Andertons.

The purple bass VI looks amazing, but there's no way I'd be able to sneak one into the house without the missus noticing.
