1.
I do lots of Drum & Bass now, but with live drums, no sequencing and no samples. As an effects set up I use the following... MarkBass SuperSynth (I use the Octave side as much as the Synth) 3 Leaf Audio Groove Regulator FuzzHugger A-BSynth (Set to Glitch as it sustains) Guyatone PS3 Phase Shifter EBS Unichorus (Run with Sub octave and phase shifter for huge sub tone) Boss DD20 Delay Boss SL20 Slicer Moog MF-102 Ring Modulator (Exp. Pedal for Freq). Sound is huge but takes some time to get used to switching tempo's and keeping changes tight. Lots going on but it covers all bases. Octave is always going to be the D&B friend. I have 3 presets, but mostly use octave down with no original signal. Flavoured with soft chorus. That's the mainstaple of my sound.
That sounds pretty good. The group has downsized to just me and the DJ as our drummer didn't have much time to spare. I now am going to start running my bass into his Korg Radia to process it, which should work fine, and then add a few other FX after, if needs be. Do you gig often? Zach
 2.
I've not been hit yet, although that might be down to the fact that the stands tend to disintegrate after a couple of numbers! Actually Mr Venom is pretty good at spotting where the other members of the band are and keeping clear of them. Also it's not as though the rest of us are hiding at the back of the stage... Grandad Paul, I've you're serious our next gig is at The Maze on Friday 17th September.
I've played at The Maze! I fear for you, if so far you've managed to not get hit by keeping your distance... Zach
 3. Bump for low quality phone photos. Zach

 7.
MASTODON also, what strings are you using for those tunings?
Damn, forgot to mention that I've brought it back up to standard with some Ernie balls, I think, but I still have the strings I used for A, just an old set of 6 string strings, the BEAD tuned down, but the nut wasnt cut properly for it, so the stringswere seriously high up. I can put the string back on if you want though. Zach
 8. I've had this bass for the past 2 and a half years, and it's been through a fair bit. It's a quality bass, nice tone, plays well, etc. Here's the marketing blurb: The Schecter Guitar Research Stiletto Extreme-4 is an electric bass that delivers the ideal combination of hard-hitting Schecter sound and jaw-dropping aesthetics. The Stiletto Extreme-4 bass has a lower-cutaway basswood body, exquisite figured maple top, maple neck, and 24-jumbo-fret rosewood fingerboard that provide a uniquely awesome playing experience. And for dialing in your ideal sound, the Stiletto Extreme-4 bass's 2 Schecter bass humbucker pickups with active EQ give you maximum control. If you like your sound heavy and your electric bass awe-inspiring, snag the Schecter Stiletto Extreme-4. Schecter Stiletto Extreme-4 Bass Features: Construction/Scale: 6 Bolt-on / 34" Body: Basswood with Figured Maple top Neck: Maple Fingerboard: Rosewood Frets: 24 jumbo Inlays: Vector Pickups: 2 Schecter bass Humbuckers with active EQ circuit Electronics: 1 Volume, 1 Blend with active 2-Band EQ Bridge: Diamond bass Binding: Creme (neck, headstock) Tuners: Schecter These currently go for $399/£258, so I think £180 is fair, but I'm open to offers around that mark, trades and cash. Try me, the worst I can say is no. Well, that's not the worst, but that's the worsst I'm likely to say. 9. Just as an aside, Billy Gibbons has 6 of these in series, into a little amp that I've forgotten the details of. Zach
 10. Hey guys, I've had enough of multiple pedals so I need to just shift these as I need the money for a Sansamp VT Deluxe. Blackstar HT-Dual Great pedal, but I just kept fiddling with it, never actually remembered good tones with it, etc. so I rarely used it properly. 2 channels, the 1st is a clean/crunch, second is full on drive. I've been reliably informed that these sound best with a clean blend, but I always seemed alright with it, maybe because I just cranked the bass on my amp, IDK. Shared 3 band EQ, ISF feature (preset EQ curve), seperate gain and volume controls for each channel. Looking for £90 for this, good condition, including the original box and power supply. Morley Dist/Wah/Vol I've only had this a little while, but I tried it with my band, and I just can't find a use for wah in any of the songs that I really liked. The distortion sounds really nice, and with the tone up it can get quite clangy if you play with a pick, but I quite liked that for punk and suchlike, but unless you want that, just turn the tone down to about 12'o'clock. The volume function, can't really say much about that, it goes loud and quiet, that's about it really. I'll take offers around £40 for this, since it's in OKish condition, taken a bit of wear, the bottom label came off when I removed the pedal from my board and took the velcro off. Hartke Bass Attack DI This pedal has taken a real beating over the past few years and owners. I bought this second hand from a member on here, in the same condition I'm selling it now. It's beaten up, worn out, the tube thing doesn't work anymore (either full on or off, inbetween it's just an uncontrollable hissing), one of the knob caps has come off, although this is an acknowledged fault and poor design choice, the battery cover was lost, and one of the side buttons has come out, but it still works if you poke it with something long and thin. I'll be lucky to get £20 for this, so just throw me an offer, whatever you think's reasonable. Pics up within the next hour or 3, need to try and find a camera and make sure it actually works, etc. Morley gone Please note, P&P is not included in the prices. Zach
 11.
Is this the stuff with conductive glue so that you can just overlap it to create conductivity? Or the kind that you need to solder between individual strips?
Not sure mate, I'll have a look, but I figure it's conductive adhesive since they were bought for electrical shielding purposes.
If i'm right, (i hope i'm not!) That they are no longer making these! the 414/5s Which would be a shame as i would love a metallic orange one like that as they are being completely replaced by the 424/5s as alot of places no longer stock the 414/415 and say they are no longer avalible?
Yep, I tried to buy one the other day, had to be put on order. The next monday I got a call saying that it had been discontinued and replaced by the 424's et al. Zach
