  1. Just found this great resource online, scrolling transcriptions from the sublime to the ridiculous: https://www.soundslice.com/playlists/RjjjW/
  2. Day 18 - One More Night
  3. I use IReal book too, but I’m partly using my physical real book to force me to transpose on the fly. All too often on a gig (remember those?) I had or was given a chart in the wrong key and had to grit my teeth and focus.
  4. I love the CS Bass Fuzz, it’s the most synth like fuzz I’ve ever used. The Sinelabs Basstard is supposed to be an exact clone.
  5. Looks like he's is still posting videos:
  6. It appears that he is still posting You Tube videos> Day 17 - Easy Lover
  7. In order to keep my chops up whilst on lockdown I've been going through the real book. I thought I'd share the Spotify playlist for anyone who fancies a bash. I'm taking the song order from EU Edition of the Real book 6th Edition. I'd greatly welcome comments on versions and I'll change the list up accordingly. Also many of the tunes are in different keys, which is also keeping me on my toes. Enjoy. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1txl2OfqRmhAYlDzpwq4sM?si=5bI8rA_HTbSOVYewDiOwKg EDIT: Now complete.
  8. It’s just occurred to me that these exist too. I’ve never tried one but they are a clone of an OC-2 and for £30 new its got to be worth a punt? https://www.andertons.co.uk/guitar-dept/guitar-pedals/octave-pedals/tc-electronic-nether-octaver-ptc-193-1
  9. Very wise, my OC2 collection is my pension fund 😆
  10. Here’s a bit more useful info including history and settings. I actually quite like using the clean signal blend with mine, but then I don’t really play much ‘electronic’ music with it.
  11. I’ll give you £35 for it 😄 The prices of OC-2’s have gone through the roof in the past few years. £120 - £150 at the moment. More for an original ‘Octaver’ early OC-2. One for a Wasa reissue I hope 🤞
  12. I agree, you can often get away with expanding the range I mention, but that all depends on your technique. Any poor muting or mis-fretting will result in lots of glitching. The OC-2 is a classic monophonic octave divider, it works by dividing the frequency of the note you play. If you offer it anything other than a nice pure note, it’ll not track correctly.
  13. I think because in his eyes, he’s posting the videos for his followers on Facebook?
  14. It seems Lee has been blocked by Facebook for 30 days and as a result won't be posting his videos 😞.
  15. Day 16 - Invisible Touch
  16. This is classic OC-2 behaviour. Play your lines between the 7th and 14th frets and try and stick to the E, A and D strings, it’ll track just fine. I own far too many Octavers, including an OC-10 and several OC-2’s.
  17. The Behringer Super Octave is an OC-3 clone. The Valeton OC-10 is an almost exact copy of the OC-2, I'd go for that if you want OC-2 tones
  18. Day 15 - No Song!
  19. Day 14.5 - Dance Into There Light
  20. Day 14 - Drum Solo!
  21. Day 13 - Can't Hurry Love
  22. Day 12 - In The Air
  23. Day 11 - Something Happened on the Way to Heaven
  24. Day 9 - Separate Lives
