Up for sale is my Lakland 55-64 (Glaub) - Lakland Owners Group 2010 five string bass. This is one of only 30 made by Lakland - 15 with a maple fingerboard and 15 with a rosewood fingerboard. Body is ash with a clear butterscotch finish - neck is maple/maple fingerboard with black blocks. Carries a Norstrand P5 pick-up with volume /tone controls. 35 inch scale - neck width 46mm - string spacing 19mm. Weight 4.7kg (on my scales). The bass was bought new from Bass Club Chicago in 2010 and is in immaculate condition - like new. Comes with a Lakland padded gig bag. Current strings are Status flatwounds. Up for sale is my delicious Warwick Streamer Pro-M 5-string fretted bass. Bought second hand from the United States in 2007 (Rocket Music). Excellent condition - flamed natural maple body with bolt-on wenge neck and wenge fingerboard. Gold hardware with straplocks. The neck is one of the most scrumptious I have ever played - have sat with basses that cost 5 times what I'm asking for this and have walked away unimpressed. Can't get over how good this one it - absolutely storming. 34 inch scale, string spacing is 17mm at the bridge, nut width - 44.5mm, weight 9lbs Single MEC Musicman style pickup but very versatile - you can pan between the coils. Bass boost/cut, Treble boost/cut. Will supply in a gig bag and ship in a sturdy carton. Up for grabs is a rather unique 6-string bolt-on Warwick Thumb fretted bass. I bought this from littleal a few years back. It has a smaller than standard one piece walnut body so it looks like a broad necked bass but it isn't. Plays like absolute butter - the neck is wenge with an ebony fingerboard. Notes leap of the fingerboard - powerful and distinct. Only selling as I need some funds for work to be done on our house - bummer.....
