1. ....could possibly trade for some kind of Status 5/6-string headless bass - fretted or fretless - i.e., Streamline, S1, S2, S5000, Stealth etc. Please get in touch if interested !
2. Yes - this lovely puppy is still up for grabs. Having a blast on it in the past few days just emphasises that letting her go will be somewhat painful !! The most easy to play 6-er I've ever laid my hands on.
3. Wow - there's a Bass VI as well ! http://www.keymusic.com/en/product/Squier-Vintage-Modified-Bass-VI-Olympic-White ....who'd have thought......
4. Just sold a Warwick Streamer Pro-M 5-string to Ross - top bloke. Credit to the forum and all that.......

7. Well done mate, I played this beauty last Thursday and if you want a good looking (subjective I know), light, easy to play bass with bags of sustain and great tonal possibilities - this is the one. Think I'll be contacting Rob Green soon.......
8. Up for sale is my delicious Warwick Streamer Pro-M 5-string fretted bass. Bought second hand from the United States in 2007 (Rocket Music). Excellent condition - flamed natural maple body with bolt-on wenge neck and wenge fingerboard. Gold hardware with straplocks. The neck is one of the most scrumptious I have ever played - have sat with basses that cost 5 times what I'm asking for this and have walked away unimpressed. Can't get over how good this one it - absolutely storming. 34 inch scale, string spacing is 17mm at the bridge, nut width - 44.5mm, weight 9lbs Single MEC Musicman style pickup but very versatile - you can pan between the coils. Bass boost/cut, Treble boost/cut. Will supply in a gig bag and ship in a sturdy carton. Looking for £650 plus shipping - no trades please - funds are for work on the house If you are nearby - more than welcome to have a play..... Based in South Wales - not far from J27 on M4.
9. Based in Newport South Wales Scale length 34 inch String spacing at bridge 18mm Nut width 52.5mm
10. Up for grabs is a rather unique 6-string bolt-on Warwick Thumb fretted bass. I bought this from littleal a few years back. It has a smaller than standard one piece walnut body so it looks like a broad necked bass but it isn't. Plays like absolute butter - the neck is wenge with an ebony fingerboard. Notes leap of the fingerboard - powerful and distinct. Only selling as I need some funds for work to be done on our house - bummer..... There are a few videos of it in action here - Looking for £950 (shipped in UK) - comes with a hard case. No trades please !
11. Nice ! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rickenbacker-Jetglo-4004L-Laredo-5-String-Bass-/370673969685?pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Guitars_CV&hash=item564de3ea15 This would be nice tuned E-C would it not ?
12. Great looking build - have fancied making one of those for a few years now - funnily enough contacted Edenhaus about the slab body last month. I fancy something approaching Bob Daisleys slab (when he had it) - Birdseye maple neck with Birdseye maple cap. Do you know anyone that does a single ply tort pickguard - It's just a look that appeals at present. Was also giving thought about a maple body to go with the maple neck - just to be different ! Pickup wise I was thinking about a Wizard - I'm sure yer man is familiar with the legend. Maybe he could cook up something ! With my 50th approaching next year I am also making plans for an 63 Fiesta Red rosewood board project. May ask you to be a consultant ! Have fun with the rest of your project.
13. Found this on the No Treble site - looks conventional but certainly doesn't sound it ! http://www.notreble.com/buzz/2012/11/01/bass-of-the-week-convolution-bass/

Too iconic ?

......well, got a reply from Edenhaus....they can do a slab apparently.....less contouring for them to do I guess. So - £92 or so with no paint/finish or £350 or thereabouts for olympic white with a nitrocellulose finish. Btw - found this on a quick trawl of the net...... http://www.themusiczoo.com/product/4454/Fender-Custom-Shop-Masterbuilt-66-Slab-Precision-Closet-Classic-Bass-White-Blonde-/ Shame about the decal

Too iconic ?

Harris's bass may have been custom made - the Fender Japan SH model came with the regular body. I note Fender Japan Aerodyne P-basses are slab bodied however - maybe a project there for someone ! Otherwise, looks like you'd need to contact Mr Bravewood or John Shuker (or the like). I've sent off an e-mail to Edenhaus in the US to see if they could make one - they are an outfit like Warmouth - they have a 25% off sale at the moment. An Olympic White P-bass body (post 57) with nitrocellulose finish works out at £367 using their website. Will let you know if they can do a slab......
