There's one key word here... 'heavier'. I think you may have pushed me over to team barefaced.

Anyone any experience with these guys and how their bass cabs sound before I enquire about one? Has GAS for a barefaced cab for a while but may be swayed by one of these.

So I have my stomp now and finally getting to grips with it. Even planning to ditch the rest of my pedals in favour of it once ive given it some more tweaking here and there. Has anyone used the Headrush 112 with the Stomp? Any other places to download some decent presets?

Had to Google what FRFR was there haha. This is a couple of years old now and I noticed TC electronic do a pretty affordable powered 2x10 bass cab. Wondered if that would make a nice companion to the helix?

Yeah I'm running the helix through an ampeg PF500 and trying to get the sound right. Its hard going from playing with effects at home through headphones to getting to rehearsal through my amp.

Was just coming on here to see if anyone had any links to pre made patches for the stomp. Just got mine last week and not had much time to play around with it yet. Great piece of kit though. Whats everyones distortion of choice??

I just keep watching videos of the pedal and think 'that sounds pretty flipping nice'. I swear by my sansamp and I guess that's the same principle here with just a different flavour pre amp modulation. The only other thing that gives me 'the fear' is that computers sometimes go wrong and what happens if everything suddenly gets wiped before a gig?

I feel like I'm in a similar boat. I play in a cover band and occasionally jam with friends and I feel this would see me for many years as long as there's updates. I've never ventured into multi fx but this is the first product that's caught my attention in recent years.

That's what's appealing to me with this really. I don't have the cash flow to throw at new pedals just to play around with and having the flexibility of playing around with different setups and sounds really appeals to me. I could sell my interface which I use to practice with at home and my pedals, purchase this and have change left over.
