  4. Hello all, I'm a 4 stringer that has been used to glossy maple necks for the past 10 years ago. I recently bought a SX Short Scale P bass as a project (planning on turning it into a PJ bass monster). The back of the neck is lovely and glossy but the fret board seems really 'dry' for loss of a better word. Any tips on what to use to make it a lil bit glossier? Cheers.

  6. Bought these off here but decided I don't need them. Meaty beasty tones. Price includes postage. Will add some pics later.
  7. Great little cab I had twinned with a VS112 (which sold seperately) and I can't fault it. Was gonna keep as an extension for my Fender rumble but I've started a bit of a project bass and need some funds. Can deliver or meet within reasonable distance or courier could be arranged. Here's some Ashdown garb... 8. Actually a big fan of gotoh bridges too. Thanks for that.
  9. Did you change anything on it? Curious what will fit being a shorty. Bridge and tuner wise.
  10. My first brand new bass in many many years. Going to be a little project bass. Out of the box seems really good quality for £160 delivered! Came with a little paper thin soft case too. Probably going to be changing most of the hardware on it and maybe routing for a J pickup at the bridge. Not plugged it in yet but initially very happy.
  11. Yeah I'm curious too. Was gonna get one of these but they weren't in stock anywhere when I came to order one. The session cake is working well for me at home so far.
  12. I know this is an odd thing to ask on a Bass forum but I'm wondering if anyone has any used (but not broken) drum heads they could donate to me? I'm creating a bit of a night light feature for my son and his cousins. Can pay for postage gladly. Feel free to move to a more suitable place if need be admins

  14. Only got the LB112 left mate. PM Me if interested?
  15. Sorry to dig up an old thread but I'm thinking about purchasing one of these bad boys and wondered if you'd changed anything else on it? I've seen one for sale for around £150 and was thinking of getting it routed for a PJ setup and just changing out the scratchplate and bridge. Love to hear your thoughts before I pull the trigger.
  16. Do the zoom pedals allow a phone or similar to be plugged in to practice over tracks?

  19. Tempted to give one of these zoom pedals a try too now. Not had chance to try the yamaha box yet as my numark headphones have the large aux cable so need to wait for an adapter
  20. Gonna give the Yamaha a go. Now I'm wishing I'd gone with the zoom. Is the pedal not huge? Does it take batteries?
