    No problem with players who wait for the right band. Myself I would rather set one up myself. Plenty of good players around if you have a good network. Avoid th Internet and unknown musicians.

    C'mon guys genius on bass started and ended with jamerson. He changed everything. Amazing what you can do with a sky high action, fender plankocaster and one finger.

    I must`ve done thousands of gigs in the last 37 years- obviously cant remember every one but I can remember the ones that I didnt get paid for- ( or as I can put it- was ripped off! ) Even on the original circuit someone is making money from the band. You are not a charity- if you want to play in front of plenty of your fans etc hire a place yourself and take all the door. I detest landlords thinking I am a fool.

    I did this gig many years ago. Had a great time. Hanging around with some pretty amazing New York musicians. It was the Eilat jazz festival at the same time.

    Is that one of the fender tb series amps? Though the tone sounds just like a jazz played well. Plenty of lower mid.

    Yep the deal has been done couple of extras on the bass, a case and the thick end of £2500. I'll pickit up on Friday. Like a small child I am.
