That might be repairable you know... tried giving a few workshops a call ?
Its repairable i am sure. but i am just really unhappy right now. Dont feel like doing much. Every bass i have bought has had something wrong with it that i had to wait for months to be repaired.
 2.
No way! Was that USPS??! Looks like a job for Waghorn dude. I hope my Mock arrives ok...
Usps to Parcel force, the box was well packed. with the headstock reinforced. No hard case though. It was parcel forces end i am sure. It was stuck in their warehouse for a week at the depot because they couldnt be arsed to send a letter out to me saying it was there and i had to pay VAT. And i cant claim because it doesant adhere to their packing standards.
 3. Hey guys. I bought this Pink eagle off of ebay a few weeks ago. Got it through the post after huge delays and this is what appeared when i opened the box. Not sure what to do at the moment. But why does this sh*t allways happen to me? One day i would like to receive a bass that didnt need work on it when i recieve them. Rob.

 6.
The only thing that making me think is, tuning and buying strings. Is it hard to detune and how much do the strings cost? Oh btw, my Jazz should be worth like £300 lol
Well true if thats the case the dean should be worth 400! I have seen many fender jazz V's go for under 250 on ebay. It's not hard to detune per say though yes it takes a while to tune properly. Not sure about the strings. I havent this long though i have a complete spare set. Eithr way thinking about it, i think i'll pass on the fender. But thanks for the offer!
 7.
Give me that bass and £500 and you can have my Jazz if you like
See if this bass was a 4 string i reckon with the wood combination and the pickups the dean has it could outclass the jazz However its a 12 so it's worth less as not alot of people would consider playing one! EDIT, Then again they are two different animals.
 8.
Would a trade for a Fender Jazz Bass 5 string be reasonable?
Hmm maybe with a little bit of money coming my way. PM me if your willing to talk. Cheers. Rob.
 9. Reduced price to 270. By the way the bridge pickup is not a EMG HZ its a real EMG.
 10. Hahah, I tried out for this band ages ago they had a manager who was a complete dick, The guitarist is such an Ego hog, And wouldnt allow the bass to do anything but root notes and if i did try he said i was trying to take over the band. The Drummer is the only nice guy, Young guy named jake the best and most talented out of the bunch. They have been looking for members for a long time and people usually leave or get kicked out. The music is boring as hell. Many songs being based on three chords. Dont bother.
 11.
No strings? I hope you don't mean that literally!
I KNEW someone would pick up on that
 12. Bump, Now for sale/trade. Got it through, Really well constructed, Not a spot on her. Not as heavy as i thought it would be and great tone! No strings try out available.
 13. I think i should ask to put USPS on there. +1 I have recieved over 15 guitar/bass shaped parcels from them over the past few years and never been a problem. (If anyones been the problem its when they get to the UK and Parcel force get a hold of them they slow down :S
 14.
Y'see, to me, music is one of the most primal, emotional & soulful pleasures we have. I'm fairly sure 99.9% of the musicians I admire have never been on one of these courses. I seem to recall that Dream Theatre formed at Berkeley. *cough*
Whilst they are one of my fave bands and musicians of a excellant calibre i dont see any emotion or originality in the lines they make. Sure they are technical but they have zero emotion, Sure they can "Simulate" Emotion, But still. Dream theater are alot like classical musicians. They are about as rock and roll as a prawn cocktail crisp packet. (Yes i am a huge fan of them but i dont delude myself with biased ramblings!)
 15.
Isn't it just like actors going to acting school? Bear in mind most bass playing jobs in the music industry won't be in Top 10 rock bands. It'll be reading off charts somewhere random like a theatre show or a cruise. It pays to be a Jaco of all trades rather than a Mark King of one.
Believe it or not i have also done 6 years of drama and related subjects. With acting yes its an art as much as music is, however there is alot more to it. With acting its very hard to learn at home on your own how to act. You need to have criticism because you cant watch yourself act well. However being a musician is far easier to teach on your own. You can record and hear your mistakes easily. Plus there is some demand for the very good actors at acting school and generally get hired during or after completing the course. Also as to the jaco of all trades and mark king comment. I would rather play like Mark King then a jaco. yes i probably wont get very famous or rich from it. But at least i will be playing in the style i really want to. To me playing the music i want to play in the way i wish to play it is far more important then adhering to a standard and be bored playing but for money.
