    Nice one Kev always fancied the higher spec'd ones but happy with my ABZ5. So what's the main diff between this & the Z1 that you say you didn't like (tone ?) woods & pups diff ?

    It all helps really interested in these Gen3 cabs as I used to have a S12T which was great, so if these are better maybe just one 12 will suffice (esp as my power amp bridges at 8 Ohms) As you've gathered I play in drop A but just a tad concerned how one SC can handle that ...

    FS - Yamaha BBN5 (alder body / maple neck / rosewood FB)... I intended to mod this even further & make it headless& use a spare but although the low B is ok it doesn't take low A as well as Id like & drop A is our tuning (my main bass is a Dingwall so 37" vs 34" is perhaps not a fair race) ... I've re-shaped the headstock & horns and replaced the pickups with new DiMarzio Ultra Jazz (hum cancelling) & new vol/tone pots including a 5-way pup selector switch (B,series,parallel,series out of phase,N), schaller strap locks (bit of neck dive as tuners are a little heavy but sits horizontal on my slippy strap), re-string with new Rotosound RS swing bass 45-105 + 140 (have spare new B string which I'll include as well as the original single coil pups unless they sell 1st) .. powder coated bridge (not the saddles) Sanded down then stained / tru-oiled body & headstock, tru-oil can regularly reapplied btw ... Price doesn't include postage & I'd rather you tried this bass out but sure we can come to some arrangement ... cash / paypal / bank transfer. Possible trade for 35" scale 5

    I'll let you know in a week or so as I'm having some of these Ultra Jazz (humbuckers) installed on a Yamaha but according to DiMarzio they won't fit a Fender. The yammie pups I took out & are true single coils & have the same dimensions, I don't just mean the same as the DiMarzio's but neck & bridge are same length etc ... you can try yammies cheap lol

    SOLD - my PJB 9B cab, 9 x piranha drivers rated at 100w each, 8 Ohm cab with cover & heavy duty locking castors ... Cab is in great condition but not had any use since I got it back in a trade last year. I bought this new a few years ago from Electromusic (still have receipt somewhere) ...     Pedal train mini to start (which I got off OP Harry ) ... 3Leaf Enabler (as preamp/DI) Darkglass B3K ... that's all I have so far but Soundblox Oribital Mod & Boss LS-2 to switch between two effects are next on wish list .. prob start with a tuner Warwick Rocktuner looks ok (does low A) ... maybe a Thumpinator as well .....
