1. No photos, no description apart from year and make and £2400. I think you've about zero chance of selling without a lot more info.
2. If this was a jazz bass I would be having it, perfect year, colour and neck. Just wrong style
3. White blocks for me on either Rosewood or Maple. They great on both but only on fender style basses. I fell in love with white/maple on a 76 jazz bass I recently sold and that is the option I have on the new Sandberg which I recently purchased. It is subtle but looks really good IMHO.

Just sold my Fender to Paul, very fast payment straight into my bank, couldn't have been easier.
5. They get a fair amount of love on talk bass too. I can't rate mine highly enough, sounds and looks really great. I won't be going back to Fender that's for sure. I think one's bought now will be worth quite a bit in a few years time as they gain more recognition.
6. I don't understand why sandbergs are so undervalued.
7. So Sandberg having been making guitars for over 25 years so where are all the vintage one's? You hardly ever see any old one's on the market, are they all keepers? Also do you think that one's bought now will be worth a lot of money in 25 years or so? They are getting a lot of love so can they have a collectable value in the future like Fender/Musicman/Rickenbacker or do only vintage American guitars command that kind of following? They are certainly as good both tone and build wise as any fender/musicman bass. Should we start collecting them now?
8. Its a bad thing. I started playing bass again last year after a massive break. Last time I played I had one bass, a crappy amp but loved it and it did me. Since getting back into it I've bought 6 basses, sold 2 and had as many effects pedals. Its bad. But still love it. I must admit I was pretty happy with my first bass until I found this forum. I blame everyone on here, especially those selling great basses/effects!
9. That is very nice. If I had the money available I'd buy that off you. Good luck with the sale.
10. Thanks Ruck, they are good but I mostly play funk/jazz so not really required.
11. Hi there, bought this from a fellow bass chatter about a month ago but not really my style but great pedal if you are looking for that synth sound. Full info and demo can be found here http://www.ehx.com/p...cro-synthesizer. Unit is about 2 years old and in good working condition with no damage, its hardly been used. £110 including shipping.
12. For sale a mint condition Catalinbread SFT. I purchased from new from the US about 4 months ago as I really wanted to get that tubing, 70's bass sound but couldn't afford a new amp. I've since purchased a new Ampeg which can give me that tone without the pedal so its surplus to requirements. Its not left my house and is in "as new" condition. This pedal gets great reviews on here and other bass forums and is a great pedal. Breif Description from Catalinbread: (more info here http://www.catalinbread.com/SFT) "We wanted a pedal that FINALLY let you control the amount of grind solely based on your finger attack. You know the feeling - full and rich and clean when you brush lightly and some nice wooly edge when you dig in. At the other end of the sonic spectrum we wanted a drive pedal that could deliver bone-crunching grind and still hold together without sounding thin or turning into a sludgy mess no matter how hard you hit it. So we did a LOT of listening – listening for the dynamics, how the pedal responds to pick or finger attack. The cornerstone of those particular amps is their dynamic sensitivity – the feeling that you plugged directly into the power amp, that there is always more potential on tap. It’s a big, lively, responsive tone – you feel completely connected to it and control it all through your hands, nothing gets in the way. So we worked on the input sensitivity until it turned our rather sterile solid-state test subject into a warm and responsive vintage-sounding tube amp" Looking for £130 (including shipping).
13. Definately. I've heard you make some half decent beer over there. Thanks again for letting me use your demo's/pictures, they really do the bass justice!
14. This bass has clearly been played by the owner so definately can't be classed as new. As new, mint condition would be a better description. Nice bass though, not sure its worth more than £1400, especially in the current climate. Ebay can be funny place and stuff does seem to sell on there for more than you would expect.
15. Thanks. I don't really want to sell it but I need some funds for a non bass related purchase.
16. Thanks Chris. Its a great example of 70's fender jazz.
17. For some reason this seems to have been posted twice, I think it may have been when I was adding the video, can one of the mods please delete this one?
18. I did originally add it but for some reason it got removed from the thread. The video is Geert (Wombatboter) who I bought the bass off, he's a great bass player. He also did this demo on it. http://youtu.be/VRnDln-U_28
19. Thanks, the photo's don't really show it but the wood grain comes through the laquer too, which is really cool. This bass actually converted me to pale shades as it looks really cool.
20. For sale my Fender 1976 Jazz bass which I bought off Wombatboter in Jan. Love this bass but due to a recent purchase of a jazz bass I'm really not sure this will get the use it deserves and I really only need one Jazz bass in my collection. The bass has a refin by Marty Bell In 1999 one of the best refinishers, he uses thinner lacquers, the sound could be better than with the original thick lacquer. The neck also needed adjusting and was taken to a Belgian luthier and he gave the bass a good set-up, gave it a refret. Pickups are Seymour Duncan SJB1 from 90's, electronics is original and the bass has a Badass bridge. Ash body, maple neck, pearl blocks, white binding. Nice Weight - 3,8 kg - 8,4 lb. Not original case but will be well packaged in a padded gig bag. Low action, This bass delivers the classic Jazz ingredients, has a nice Miller-slap and a nice growl when played fingerstyle. Pictures and video curtiousy of Wombatboter as they are much better than I could take/play. This is a players bass rather than a collecters item and deserves to see some stage action. Looking for £1300 (which is what I paid), can include shipping in UK in that. Not really looking for trades as I'm trying to free up some funds and reduce my collection a bit.
