if hes up to it it should be possible, it's not the most simple amp ever. Do you know what iron he'll be using? The schematic makes it look alot more complex than it is by being quite hard to follow

ad200 and bass terror have the same preamp

all the new orange amps are terrible for it, i dont think one of them makes their wattage claim

stick amp on a dummy load, take xlr out into power amp bobs your uncle 1000watt valve amp. is my next current plan!

ahh just double checked layout is fine, try running it on 12v if thats still not great i'll give you a few recomendations to improve the circuit, grid bias is a bit lame.
