  1. Park Life - Blur
  2. D I V O R C E - Tammy Wynette
  3. He's been singing more and more for the past few years and his voice and confidence is now really suiting his music in my opinion.
  4. A bit more Robin Trower for me. Does anybody get a better tone out of a Strat than he does? This is from his album The Playful Heart. Love his stuff and his totally unique guitar style.
  5. If it's the same psu and board that I have (sounds like it is), the outputs on the ISO8 come out of both sides, and to get access to all of them I had to cut away a section of the pedal board. Took a couple of minutes and didn't cause any problems at all. I'm very happy with the setup. Edit; Scrub that. Just googled it and it's a different design.
  6. Tightrope - Stevie Ray Vaughan
  7. Unique player. Rocco with David Garibaldi was a thing of rare beauty.
  8. Don't know to be honest. Certainly sounds like it although he often played a Gibson or an Alembic at that time.
  9. Tiran Porter was a big reason I took up bass. Great player, great tone, and was also just right in the mix. Here's an example, but just about anything else would do.
  10. Boxer Beat - Joe Boxers
  11. Thanks. I bow to your superior knowledge of God awful pop songs.
  12. Bad Boys - Donna Summer
  13. Thought that's what I said (presumably not very well).
  14. The strength of the signal going into the amp will make a big difference too. An active bass and a hot signal would create a load more volume whatever the wattage being supplied by the amp.
  15. Don't Dream It's Over - Crowded House
  16. Sau Hello, Wave Goodbye - Marc Peanut
  17. I played a gig through an Ashdown Routemaster rig a few years back and was pretty impressed by it. I'd imagine that stuff can be picked up reasonably cheap now.
  18. How Come - Ronnie Lane
  19. Rain - Status Quo
  20. Word Up - Cameo
  21. This is the same song but Pino plays some outrageous stuff on this version, especially near the end.
  22. The Riverboat Song - Koala Shaker.
  23. Toast - Paul Young
  24. I think it also depends a great deal on what you're playing. Years ago I played in a band with drums, guitar (sometimes x2), keyboards, sax, harmonica and sometimes trumpet, trombone and backing singers. My bass went straight into my amp and wasn't very loud to allow for the overall volume. More lately I was playing in a rock covers band with drums, 1 guitar and vocals. In that setup i needed a more driven sound to fill up a bit of space and stop the ar&e from dropping out of the sound when the guitar was soloing. As others have said, try playing Muse with a clean sound and see how well it's received.
  25. Just the Two of Us - Bill Withers
