    1 week special price.
  2. Black Burst on G&L's is the sex, I also love tobaccos. Some colours like pelham blue, burgundy mist, daphne blue, blonde are nice though
  3. These are awesome basses, love the look and spec. I would love to get one and upgrade some of the parts. I was actually just about to make a topic about this but found this thread when I scrolled down, doh! There is however someone claiming over on the talkbass thread, his design was ripped off (page 2). I honestly prefer this design a whole lot more, it's very tempting! 4. It looks legit, but IMO you should save up/buy a Mustang bass. They are far better than musicmasters (again... IMO, it's all subjective), definitely my choice in regards to short scale basses. Japanese RI are about £500, theres a few different desired years on vintage so price varys, so if you need help just PM me.

  8. Can anyone suggest where the cheapest place to get one is? Thanks
  9. Without reading the first 3 pages out of pure lazyness, I would say they definitely are. My first instrument was an old Squier strat which to be honest was awful. There was a huge gap in both sides of the neck, sharp frets, uneven neck and shoddy electronics. I have, however owned a classic vibe duo-sonic which was just as good as some american fenders I've played. Squiers these days can be a hit and miss but so can anything. They were generally pretty awful about 10 years ago but they are getting even better as the days go by. The first, Japanese Squiers were great though. I think Fender make the new "modern player" series at the Squier factory in China. I'm not sure though... wouldn't surprise me.
  10. Well I've owned quite a few brands but have always felt at home with Fenders. I always get a bass then find little things which bug me about the bass and then sell it on. "The one" for me will probably be either a Jazz or Precision, I have yet to find it though! I do have my eye on a nice Jazz bass at the moment, I'll have to see if anything comes of it!
