  1. I know what you mean , it's the string skipping of the quavers on beats 2 and 3 don't quite fall under the fingers, macca played it with a pick of course and I think this adds to the smooth articulation. Fairplay for learning all this stuff mate , there's so much to be learned from detailed transcription especially of one of the masters

  3. Sold Headway EDB-1, good condition execpt the xlr input cuts in and out when you wiggle it, no psu , got the manual though, I'm in north london or I'll post try me with trades
  4. ehrlund eap contact mic and preampSOLD a really great compromise between mic and piezo, in terms of both sound and feedback resistance. Apparently they are fantastic for arco , I've heard Daf bow his bass through one and it sounded wonderful. I no longer use it as I just use mics for most gigs and if it's gonna be really really loud I use a pick up, but if you don't wanna go down the mic route this is a great way to get a more natural tone, it cost me £340 new, the tin the mic comes in is a bit dented apart from that it's in very good condition and works perfectly £200 I'm in stoke newington north london if you wanna pick it up or I'll post it, probably be £5
  5. MXR M87 brand new in the box with the manual and leaflets, bought while in the states a few years ago a long with some other pedals and never got round to using it, just opened and checked it works the other day, I'm in stoke newington north london if you wanna pick it up or I'll post it

  7. I've got gamut wrapped E and A , longevity seems very good, I've had mine on about 4 months and I do 4/5gigs a week on average I they haven't deteriorated at all, tuninf stability is a pain in the ass but they do settle eventually, mine took a a good couple of months, yeah they cost a lot but I'm pretty happy with mine and they have thump and weight to the tone I haven't been able to get from synthetic , they don't have the resonance and volume of spiros but for me guts are the sound of jazz
