1. It's worth what someone will pay for it and I think £600 is fine. Sorry you're not accepting trades - Fingers crossed my Precision will move on soon and I'll be knocking your door down.
Seems a few people don't agree with £600 for it but im my defense this is nothing close to the new models they are making. I played a 2007 and it feels completly different plus the new pick ups and wiring makes such a different. I'd be interested to hear what other people think but I wish you could be in my room playing it because then you would all go........ aaaaahhhhh.
2. Bank Holiday Bumpage
3. Still considering trades on this. Bump time
4.
not what I mean! sorry! it's worth that everyday of the week, I really miss mine and could kick myself for letting it go so cheaply! I'll ask the missus. andy
Oh no, I understand... Just wanna let everyone know that I am flexible on the price. . .
5. Let's here it for ... The Bassman Bump!
6.
lovely bass, reminds me of the one I sold on ebay last year for £450 - would love to have it if money permitted!
Of course any price noted on an ad is negotiable. If people feel £550 is too much please do offer what you will. Might you be interested andy67?
7. Hi there fellow Basschatters, Bought this around a year ago or so and although I love it my preference is a Rosewood fretboard. This Bass has a killer tone and is very well balanced - I have a two bass rule and after the recent discovery of a JV Squier (with that rosewood f/board) I have decided to sell this as I now have three pbasses. I would consider a trade against something like a Musicman SUB or Ibanez ATK. It comes with all the documentation and I shall also throw in the strap locks I have been using with it too. Strung with D'Addario 45-100s at the moment and after it's recent set up it plays like a dream. I think we all know what sounds you can get from a Precision - rest assured you'll get all that from this. A few light scratches here and there, but nothing major to report as you can see from the pics it looks great I paid £700 for it second hand but due to the market and judging by other sales, I would be happy for £550 oiro. Any questions - fire away. . .
8. It's time... it's time... it's bump time.
9. Very close to Ebaying this. As a result, I will seriously consider all offers and trades on here as I'd prefer a Basschatter to have it.
10. I'm a little surprised there's been no real interest in this. As with an price, it is negotiable. If you're put off by the price a little make an offer. I'm not easily offended.
11.
That head is great, how much for head only please?
Ideally would like to sell the Head with at least the Fender cab - Would seem a shame to separate them. For the head - as it's flightcased = I'd say £650. It's also in great condition with two spare valves thrown in.
12.
Hey man, pm'd yar.
Replied.
13. Greetings all, Fender Bassman 100 available with matching E.V loaded Fender cabinet. After searching high and low I couldn't find a matching Fender speaker cabinet so decided to build my own using an old Celestion Powercell speaker rated at 115w. This speaker did need a little repair job, but all was sorted with a little glue 6 months ago. I've used it over 100 times since then and nothing untoward has happened. The rig provides the most wonderful of tones and I'll sure miss it. The head is rated at 100w, 4 ohms. Recently serviced with no problems to report at all. Great condition too! I purchased the head and cabinet from a local chap who used to own a music shop in my home town, Ipswich called Whitmores. He decided to sell his collection of amps and basses last year. He owned it from new and recalls buying it some time in the early to mid 70's. I am reguarly touring across the country, so I decided to have the head flightcased. As far as I remember this was around £200 from flightcasewarehouse. The Fender cab has it's original "hat" aka soft cover. If anybody has any questions please feel free to IM me. Ideally I would like to sell as a lot. However I would consider offers for the Fender head and cab as I understand the homemade cabinet may not be so desirable. £775 for the full rig including the flightcase and hat : ) ( all cables included and two spare Mesa Boogie valves) Many thanks for looking, Jay Trade wise - I am open minded. 14. Sounds like a great pedal - loving some of those samples. Can't believe I've never really heard of these before.
15. Is this sold - as one is very interested. Lemme know either way if you could. Cheers, jay
16. I have one exactly the same age with Maple F/board but in Red, which I bought around a month ago for £459 from a local shop in Colchester. I used it for 20 dates this month on tour and I've no complaints whatsoever. Crackin solid bass... Price is spot on and there's alot of bass for not alot of money! Good luck with the sale.
17. I'm located in Ipswich, Suffolk and can deliver anywhere within reason. My girlfriend lives in London, so can easliy deliver around that area too.
18. Striaight from the bottom to the top. . . Bump Time.
19. I have a Bassman 100. Always good to see another Bassman in such good order. Good luck with the sale. . . Someone's in for a treat - especially at £350 You don't have any Bassman speaker cabs at all? I'm ideally looking for a matching 1x15. Anyways - goodus luckus with ye sale.
20. Final price drop - offers not considered lower than £500 - That is a real bargain as the head alone is going for around the £425-£450 mark!
21.
i'll give you my H+H rig and i'll make you a sandwich
You got any pics of this H+H rig yet?
22.
Yeah, there's an active thread over at Talkbass about the Behringer clone, apparently people are loving it. There was another thread on there with sound clips comparing it to the real thing and people found it hard to tell which was which. Still, I'm going for the VT Bass instead (when I can eventually get hold of one).
I'd be very interested in VT, but like you sourcing one seems tricky. I think I'll buy the Behringer and if/when it falls apart the VT should be more widely available, and perhaps a little less dosh too.
