1. * Behringer BDI 21 not BD21 as I wrote - sorry for that!
 2. Hey all - Whilst recording with my old Bassman 100 in the studio last week, I had the pleasure of using a Sansamp, and it did indeed do my tone many favours. I have always thought that the Bassman was great, only it is very limited in the EQ department. I visited my local music shop and they recommended the Behringer BD21, for a mere £30. Kindly, they've let me borrow it so I can usefully try it with my rig at home. I really wanted to say "cheap piece of rubbish" when I plugged it in, but I can't! It sounds great and although I am sure it's not quite as good as a big name brand, I cannot see where you could go wrong with it. Is there anything in particular I should look out for? I'm aware of it's less than durable structure with it being plastic, but other than that, I'm not getting any negative vibes tone-wise. My intention would be to run it the majority of the time throughout a live performance. If anyone has any suggestions, they are welcomed... Jay

 7.
Never seen an ABM 212 before. I'd love to take it off your hands but you're way too far away
I spoke to Ashdown about the cab and they explained that it's something they haven't made for 5-6 years. It is fantastic.
 8. Bump - Any news on what you'd offer as a trade Ben?

So, if anyone has anything they don't want and they like the look of my rig... fire away

 14.
Hello, nice rig, would you be interested in splitting the rig up? I would certainly be interested in the head, you may sell them quicker split up. Cheers, Nathan
Hi Nathan. I would be interested in splitting the pair. However my preference would be to sell them together, as I'd have little use for the 2x12 without the head. I have PMed you.
 15.
Hello! Please could you tell me what the spec is on the cab (weight, power and impedance)? Thanks!
Thanks for your question. The cab is rated at 300w, 8ohms. It weighs approx. 80 pounds. This is mainly due to the quality speakers.
 16. Hello - a friend of mine has decided to sell his trusted Stinger Bass rig. Great gigging amp. Reliable and very loud. Bought new around 2 years ago, it has seen reasonably light use, with a few gigs and the odd recording. A similar standard to some Hartke and the MAG Ashdown range bass amps. looking for a very reasonable £350 Any questions, please feel free to ask. Anyone is welcome to come and try it PS link to more pics... 17. Hey all, After recently finding an old valve Fender Bassman 100 and matching 1x15 cab, I have decided it's time to let my old faithful go. Nothing wrong with it whatsoever - I just don't use it anymore Here's the details... Ashdown ABM 500 chrome rack mount head, 500 watts @ 4 Ohms. Ashdown ABM 212 cabinet. Loaded with Precision Devices speakers Other info I've had the head since 2001 and have serviced it every 6 months since then. In these 7 years, I've not had a single problem with it's performance or reliability. I used to play it through a 4x10 Trace cab and it sounded super, however in my opinion the ABM 212 is immense. Cosmetically, the cab has seen better days, although there's no rips in the cloth or damage to the speakers. Although I don't rackmount the head, I do transport it in a decent carry case. (see photobucket link for pic of this) I am looking for a very reasonable £550 for the whole rig (kettle lead and speaker cable included) Considering the speakers cost around £100 each new - that's a bargain Any questions, please feel free to ask. For more pics go to - http://s103.photobucket.com/albums/m151/ja...sChat%20Folder/
 18. Hey guys, a friend of mine, Martin, has the following. Stinger STP300H Head and STP410B 4x10 Cabinet I've had a play through it and it certainly gives anything else in it's price range (Ashdown Mag series) a run for its money. New, it would cost around £550 for this set up, (Ebay). As it's been played literally 15-20 times live and the odd recording, as you'd guess it's in great condition. I had a whirl on it the other day and I'd have it if I didn't have two rigs already. : ) Price: £350 Pics to follow later in the week when I visit again him again. Anyone is welcome to try it. Any questions feel free to PM or leave a post. Many thanks, Jay
 19. Just a quick message saying. . . SOLD. : )
 20. bumpety bump. Price isn't fixed, offers welcomed.
 21.
heres the queen vid with a far better job than I could ever do of taking a sound sample......but its only going to sound like your PC speakers.... But then John may only be playing this in the video not the soundtrack.....cant help you out any more than that Cheers, Dave
I found this website ages ago. It gives some info on Mister Deacon's Basses including the Kramer. http://www.deaky.com/bass/indexE.html Again no real evidence to say it was used on any recordings. However, in my opinion he must've liked it to consider it a worthy spare. No-one's bought my Bassman yet, so I'm sorry I'm still yet to make you an offer.
 22.
Top man, thats the one.... And this is the cover that I have have had with the bass all this time in the case. Dave
For posting that gem - have a bump
