1. Bass has a few hours left on eBay. Quite a disappointing response to be very honest. Still available...
2. Haha! Monday evening bump. Open to sensible offers. Played it last night and very nearly withdrew the sale.
3. Stunning! If only I didn't already have one... Good luck with the sale! Fine fine bass indeed.
4. I'm seeing Cardinal Fang later bump... Last I heard he was looking for a new comfy chair. All messages replied to
5. I have owned this wonderful bass for 8 years and it is a true work horse. I've played countless gigs and recordings with it and it has been an absolute joy to play and maintain. It has been fitted with an additional Jazz Bass pick up and as you can see from the pictures it's a really decent job. The bass has also been refretted with a good quality fretwire. No crackles from the electrics which are all original with the exception of the addition pot for the Jazz pick up. It's a JV 1983 model in Fiesta Red although most people say it's a pinky orange colour. It has the usually paint chips you find on these models around the edges which shows black underneath. I believe through talking with people on forums etc that the Japanese plant where they were made had prepared most bodies to be painted in sunburst hence the black paint underneath. A friend of mine has a pretty mint example in the same colour which shows the same finish underneath on the edges too where there's a slight chip. The action is low and there's enough play in the truss rod to adjust to your preference with ease. The previous owner had cut a little of the scratch plate out to make access to the truss rod easier, which has been convenient. There's a slight area of "buckle rash" too as you can see. All in all, these little imperfections add to the mojo of the bass, something which people seem to make lots of money doing to new basses these days! Here's me playing it... https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=9YhO2lfuIxc I I have a soft case, but due to the interest this bass will gather I would ship in a hard case.

7. Easter Bunny says you can grab a bargain at £300. Crazy price for basschatters only.
8. Pm replied! A great offer from John but not quite doable for me. Just to let everyone know I could put 400 into a trade. Cash price drop. £350
9. Bump! Would consider offers and open to part ex against a musicman sterling bass or Gibson EB3
10. Hi all, selling my Orange SP212 (Smart Power) bass cabinet which I would like £395 for. Sounds great, looks great and doen't weigh too much at all. Easily lifted with one hand. 8ohms 600w and a great tone. I have been using it with the Terror 500 which I won't sell, but I should imagine it will sound good with any amp really. Many thanks for looking - Jay ]
11. Price drop to £330 - that'll include delivery to anywhere in the U.K. Overseas? I'd look into it.
12.
Is it all working Ok with no scratchy pots etc.? Also, ever had any issues with it cutting out when hot?
I should've added to the decription that I had the amp serviced around 2 weeks ago. One of the pots was crackling a little so it was replaced. As for it cutting out, that's never happened and I've had in on for hours on end es,pecially recording. It's never got worryingly hot either.
13. Price is by mo means concrete - I have noticed someone selling one for £300 so I guess offers around that mark would be more than fine with me.
14. Bump. So far no real interest. Any ideas on trades etc?
15. Hi all, I have an Orange set up at the moment and this isn't being used at all. Perfect for practice and smaller mid-sized venues. With good monitoring, it's good enough for any gig. Good condition overall. Sounds great and is very versatile. I have no real idea how old it is but I'd say probably over 10 years at least. Chorus built in and no probs, £ 375 for it or would part trade towards a musicman sterling bass (USA) or similar. You're welcome to try it. I'm in Ipswich, planet earth. Any questions, fire away.
16. If you're unsure of the value I would advertise this lovely looking bass for £2250 However I don't have £2250... Good luck with the sale :-)
