    Here in the south (Surrey/Hants/Berks) we on average get paid £300 in pubs for 2 x 1 hour sets. Some might pay a little less and some pay a little more but the majority are £300. Ws also don't go out for less than £300. Clubs are then between £300 - £600 but the majority is between £400 - £500.

    Thank you. Your picture did confuse me as from my measurements, the RM head should not be so flush with the edge of the speaker on the Two10. Now I know why it is on yours 😁

    Mmm, I've just bought a Barefaced Two10 and the RM 500 is one of the heads on my list to go with it 😊 Do you have a front on shot?

    Just picked up a wonderful Barefaced Two10 and now considering what head to run with it. The ones on my list so far are the Ashdown RM 500, Aguilar Tone Hammer 500 and a Genz Benz Streamliner. Even considering an Ampeg Portaflex 500. I tend to play a Fender Jazz and my tone is clean, warm, round with a little bit of definition in the tone. I play 50's and 60's rock n roll so lots of walking bass lines. Any thoughts from those who have used or use any of these heads?

    Thanks Chris. Same, my EBS and Fender rumbles were exactly the same. I do about 100 gigs a year so if cloth fronted then I'll just buy a padded cover to give it more protection loading in the car etc.

    Hi, I just have a quick question to those who have Barefaced cabs. I'm looking to buy a Barefaced Two10 and I noticed they do a steel grill and cloth grill option. With the cloth grill option, is there any protection behind the cloth? I had an EBS classic 112 speaker once and it had a cloth grill which was basically a wooden frame, covered in cloth that then sat in the recess of the cabinet. There was no grill or protection behind the cloth at all. Just wondering if the Barefaced design is the same. if anyone could let me know I would most grateful. I did drop Alex an email to ask but no reply yet so maybe he's away at the moment.

    NOW SOLD: For Sale is my mahogany Kala UBass Rumbler. Owned for about a year and has been absolutely brilliant for the acoustic project it was used for. That project has now finished so it's no longer needed. These little UBasses are great fun to play and I got so many nice comments and interest about it. It can sound nice and warm with a deep double bass tone or dial in some treble for a little bit of bit. They also come with a built in tuner. The bass is in mint condition and comes with a fitted violin style hard case and strap for the bass. I am in Camberley in Surrey and any trial is welcome. I would like £220 which includes postage. Many thanks for looking.

    For me it has to be Jaco Pastorius. Not only for all he did to inspire people to pick up and play bass, but also fretless bass. For his creativity and expressiveness in making the bass talk to you with his melodic runs, harmonics and chords. All of this which was captured with his recognisable and famous tone. A huge influence and impact of the bass community and future generation of bassist.

    Not yet I'm afraid Monday was week 15 and I was told 12 - 16 weeks but hopefully sooner. So can't wait, it can't be that much longer.
