2. +10 for Mike, nice guy nice basses.
3. I play Lakland Osborne and a vintage PB, what im saying is that ive picked theup and played them in shops etc and they feel a bit "organic" thats probably not the right word but as if theyre trying a bit too hard to be cool and different, ramble over.
Obviously they are not as endemic as Precisions, Jazzs ,Rickenbackers etc but.... If you drive a BMW you notice other BMWs. If you drive a Mercedes, you notice other Mercedes. I see loads of bass players using Warwicks, but I notice them because that's what I play. You notice people playing what you play. What do you play?
4. Who?

6. Why do I think Warwicks look hideous? is it cause im an old git? I never see them on the box played live.

17. The neck is indeed fabulous and she records great too. Finishes on the bay soon. Is £575 too expensive? Oh well if it dont sell it will stay here, but offers of course are welcomed. http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=1931
18. Oh bugger platypus, I loved that bass, glad u still have her, what action has she seen and hows she playin, I do love the slimmer necks tho, must be something to do with my expanding waistline!
19. 70's PB. Im a man of simple needs.
20. Much as I liked the DJ it had to go in favour of the Osborne cause of the narrower neck width. Gone Sadly: Staying: Just need a 70's pbass now, why are they so difficult to find when I have the money and there seem loads about when I haven't
21. Really really big mutts nutts!
22. Fab is the word can u repeat the PB pics and perhaps a shot of the two playmates laying on a bed together!
23. I suspect its the setup that makes it sound thin, i had a KB5 and mine was no one trick pony and fitted in whatever, I guess mr King just doesnt know how to set up his eq!! Bring back the Jaydee Mark!
24. Got this yesterday, as a die hard L42 fan (forgive me! I am 48) watched thru once, need to do it again when the neighbours are out if u know what I mean. Gotta say the new stuff does't play live as good as the old stuff, or perhaps I just dont like the new stuff. Any hows its a good watch for you L42 fans. The Kingbass still sounds a tad thin to me, perhaps I'll press the loudness button when theyre out next door, on the surround sound. Now wheres the keys to me Capri Ghia!
