1.
Well I've had a really crap day........picture this. 10 miles from home get to a set of traffic lights and I hear a clunking sound then a whir then a much bigger clunk and then the gear box implodes on its self in the most awkward place, right in front of a red light...........lights turn green and I'm holding up the rush hour traffic with a F**ked gear box in a car thats going nowhere fast. To the point of this tale....................... I now need to sell a bass very quickly..........so who would like a Spector NS-5xl maple for £1450. Please Pm me if you are interested............................I'm now going to kick and beat the car with a very large stick.
Basil!
  2. I'm liking your taste, she's a beauty, love the Leo Fender thing but like the modern take and sound more that the vintage vibe, hence my RV and Spitfire, active would be a nice addition perhaps, I love the urgency of a few volts behind you! Sweet well done.
  3. Googled Schroeder and saw this http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/msg/1208623143.html nothing to do with me, but thought it looked a damn good price especially if u could do a deal for the two.

  8.
I try not to go there cos the GAS it causes is uncomfortable It's pretty good but could do with a real user experience consultant once over For example if I was to send you this page in an email and say "wow just what you are looking for!!" http://www.sadowsky.com/stock/view/m3220.html you'd have no way to the home page 'cos it's be designed as a pop up from another bit of the Sado site .. "Tell a friend" doesn't work like that ... Much better to have a general sitewide navigation bar on every page ..
You are the man OG for this sort of thing, please dont review my poor attempt at a band website!
  9. Is it me or is this just the best manufacturers website online, frequently up dated, great pics and info, you can see exactly what you are buying or lusting after, its just hugely user friendly IMHO other manufacturers take note.
  10.
I am pretty sure that RV used to be mine!! If so its a great great bass. Few dings by the bottom strap pins if so. Steve
Thats the one, means I don't have to be too precious about it, unlike my GB, but it still has loads of qudos at gigs and as you say sounds fab and fat. Sorry stole thread!
  11. My RV has the same livery, and has great stage presence unlike me! much the best colour scheme, hope the sale goes well.

  22. New shape MB cab 400watts 8 Ohms, minty. 16.9kgs. Super cab, ive used a pair of these for a good year now, they were bought new, but a change in thinking drifted me away to a one cab solution, being a Schroeder 21012L. Its been gigged as a pair about 6 times. These boys never fart out or give in, they are superb cabs and are quite transparent for a 15". Anyway £350 plus a tenner shipping. I have 1 BC'er on hold on this till after the weekend, and the other one is sold already, so just needing a back up sale as I need the cash. These stack perfectly now with any other MB cab. Sale is for 1 cab only!
  23. dont suppose it has a di out at all
  24.
Hey guys Bear with me on this one. So, if I go for Schroeder 1212L at 4ohms, and I get a Mark Bass Little Mark Tube 800, that means 800W through this cab (well the possibility). I wouldn’t be able to add another cab just to get the feeling of more speakers. If I get the 8 ohm, then the Tube 800 will run through it at 500W, which is the same level most people are getting as they have LM2’s. It should basically be the same sort of power…yes? Apart from the 800 is ‘digital’. This no doubt would be enough. Ive heard the limiters have been improved, so this amp should run better than previous MB’s at 8 Ohms. So…this would also mean I could add another cab to this, thus I would have the best of both worlds? The Little Marks only go down to 4ohm, as you all know. I could potentially have 500W into the 1212L on its own, and if, for ANY reason, I wanted a bit more thump and more speakers, I could add to it with what I like, get the Tube 800 down to 4 Ohms with 2 small cabs. I could even add any other cab that was available; say if the band I play with bring another 8 ohm cab, we could have bass destruction. Does that make sense? Or am I missing the point?! Running the Tube 800 @ 8 Ohms, 500W, is still mentally loud, and Im guessing this will still provide a good amount of power for the power hungry Schroder. I’ve heard a few say you shouldn’t underpower Schroeders as they don’t sound as good unless they given decent power. Obviously, this all depends on whether I go for the Tube 800, because if I decide after testing the LM3/LMTube is more than enough, Id go for a 1212L 4Ohm so I can get the full 500W out of it in one cab. The problem is, I look at every available option, to make sure I get the right equipment. So I basically try and do as much research as I can! When I do finally decide, it will deserve some pics! I can just imagine getting to test these MB’s, and realising I want a Epifani/Aguilar or something!
U speak the truth! all makes sense to me! how much is a tube 800 anyway? My 21012 arrived today, why do i have neighbours im here playing at headphone levels, roll on the gig saturday!
