Hi! Cause I don't use anymore the B string, I decided to sale my wonderful Lakland 55-94 USA Deluxe Bass made in Chicago in 2004. Equiped with Bartolini pickups and preamp which are originals (like all the others parts on this bass except the knobs, wich have been replaced by custom black metal knobs but I still have the originals). Perfectly setted, great low action and amazing growl! Strings are DR Lo Rider in 45/105 with 130 for the B. Flame maple table and birdeye maple fingerboard, swamp ash body (very light), quarter-Sawn Rock Maple with Graphite Reinforcement Bars. Here are the complete specs: http://www.lakland.com/55-94.htm It is clearly the best built instrument which I have never had! For the story, Lakland was establishedin 1994 by the bass player Dan Lakin and the instrument maker Hugh McFarland. Their purpose was to combine, in a single instrument, the sound of 3 Leo Fender's legends namely: - Musicman Stingray - Precision - Jazz Bass And very honestly we can feel it! The preamp developed by Bartolini specially for Lakland allows, besides reproducing these sounds larger than life, to have a whole pallet of sounds really interesting. The most versatile bass I know, really! Electronics is 3 EQ (bass, mediums, treble), we also have a balance, a volume, and a switch which allows to select the winding inside the MM pickups. Everything works marvelously on this bass, it play like butter, a complete happiness! The only "dings" are the 3 & 4 millimeters in diameters on the lacquer between the neck pickup and the neck (visible on the photos of the album). . But lacquer is not crack, it's rather like an air bubbles under an ice surface. It is not clairvoyant, especially that it is "concealed" by the "drawings" of the maple. It is a great light bass, about 9 Lbs which is very light for a 5 strings bass. The body in swamp ash is very well for that. Please note that I still not have the original Lakland hardshell case but a Gator (that I prefer moreover because lighter to transport but it protect very well). Asking for 1900€ (£1660) (without shipping). Shipping in EU available for about 60€ (£55) with insurrance. This price is negotiable! TRADE POSSIBLE WITH OLD STINGRAY, SPECTOR NS-4H2, FENDER PRECISION DELUXE.... About forty pictures here (I updated the link ): http://www.hostingpi...kak-121578.html See you soon & keep Groovin, Greetings from France !

Isaaclefunkymakak replied to deanovw's topic in Basses For Sale
What a great bass at a great price ! This serie is one of bigger success of Mexican's Fender factory (excuse my very bad English, I'm French;)!) I've tried one some years ago and it was wonderfull, very punchy tone in slap style. If only this one could be in fiesta red, I shall have bought it right now....! It's a pity ... Good luck with your sale! -
Hi ! For sold is my beautiful and amazing Fender Jazz Bass Custom Shop NOS 64 bought in 2011 in the US. In very good condition, just some littlle cracks on lacquer finish but no dings. It's because it's a nitrocellulose lacquer finish wich is not thick, like on the 60's Fender's instruments. So it's very fragile but have a lot of mojo:)! Here are specs: # Select Alder Body # Maple, “C” Shape Neck, (Nitrocellulose Lacquer Finish) # Round Laminate Rosewood, 7.25 inch Radius (184mm) Fingerboard # 20 Vintage Style Frets # 2 Vintage Jazz Bass Single-Coil Pickups # Controls Include - Volume 1. (Neck Pickup), Volume 2. (Bridge Pickup), Master Tone # Vintage Style Reverse Tuning Machines # Nickel/Chrome Hardware # 4-Ply Tortoise Shell Pickguard # 34 inch (864 mm) Scale Length # 1.50 inch (38mm) Width at Nut Quartersawn neck with veneer fingerboard which give a very nervous thunder sound, great for slap! Vintage frets are also nice for an easy playing style. This beauty just gig one time and never left my home before. Come with original Fender hardcase and all goodies. Pictures here: http://imageshack.us/g/708/1073001.jpg/ Ask for 1999 GBP It hurt me to sell it but I've too many basses at home and this one have to go, unfortunetly. No trade please. Excuse me for my bad English, I'm French !

Hi there! First, excuse my bad English, I'm French:) Here is my very cool and funky Fender jazz bass USA in very rare "Sky Blue" finish used only in 2003. Maple neck, strings through body. Have some small dings on the top of the head and normal time usewear behind the body. Nothing serious, i's still in good condition for it's age. This bass sound great and have lot of growl, slap tone is amazing. The electronic cavity is completely isolated with copper sheets. Come with hardcase, fender strap, trussrod key, goodies and the original invoice, the previous owner bought it new 1600€ in a music shop in Paris. Asking for 950€ (without shipping cost). Will ship everywhere for about 60€. I understand if people think it's a little bit expensive for a US standard jazz bass, but it's NOT a standard by the color ! So, that's the price. You can find more pictures here: http://imageshack.us.../p1020192l.jpg/ And a little sample of sound here (background bass line is play with this jazz too): http://soundcloud.co...zz-bass/s-DflEw Please no trades, I need cash but I'm not hurry.
