    Oh, the drummer did take is electric kit which helped greatly. It was more the frequency of the keyboards and guitar that got the thing excited....

    Well the dreaded gig was last night! What a nightmare!!! I was watching the traffic light system all night long and couldn't relax or get into it. Yes, it tripped once but this was caused by the crowd getting rather too excited and egging the bride and groom on. Anywhere else and it would have been superb but a quick glint into the red and the power automatically turned off. As quick as it had gone off though it came back on but everything needed resetting. A complete nightmare.... Never again..... Thanks for all the replies.....

    Hi, just had the dreaded email from our keyboard player saying that he needs out ASAP. It's all very unfortunate for him and completely understandable as to why he needs to leave quickly, so we need a replacement ASAP... We are an established 5 piece wedding / function band with female lead vocals. We are all aged 30+, and as a band we have been together for around 3 years now. We play the usual and also the not so usual wedding / function type material. All covers ranging from Elvis to Pharrell Williams. Completely fully self contained with ful professional PA and lighting rig. We rehearse within the Stourbridge area as this is central to all of us as we are based all over the place (Bedfordshire, Shrewsbury, Sedgley) Rehearsals are generally once every 10-14 days apart. We are after a committed individual who is professionally minded for this type of environment, good gear, own transport, backing vocals and reliable etc...
