1. My name is Raggy, I too suffer from G.A.S. Since March I have picked up 2 Trace Elliot 1518c's , an LMIII, a Mesa Boogie M9 Carbine and a Berg NV412. I also seem to have the need for a black and Maple Stingray, a Bareface Vintage, a black and maple jazz bass and a black and maple P bass. It's kinda cool getting stuff thought innit??

 13. I put some Nexi (Nexuses) on Friday, gigged with them Saturday and the coating started to come off straight away. Mind, I play with a pick most of the time and absolutely batter the strings so it was expected. Not overly keen on the sound I got from them either. So they are now on the back up bass.

 18. Hello Am selling my AKG D 550 mic, tripod stand thing and 20ft XLR to jack lead. Looking for £80 ono. Below is the blurb from the website. High-output neodymium transducer Cardioid instrument microphone Designed specifically for bass instruments Extremely rugged Mounts on stands or instruments The D 550 is a unidirectional dynamic microphone. It has been designed primarily for tough onstage use on bass instruments including kick drum, tuba, trombone, bass amps, etc. and uses a patented AKG Varimotion diaphragm. The wide frequency response of this microphone slightly emphasizes the mid and high frequencies to ensure a powerful sound. The D 550 has a cardioid polar response. This means the microphone is most sensitive to sound arriving from in front of it, less sensitive to sound arriving from the sides, and hardly responds to sound from the rear. This pickup pattern is virtually the same for all frequencies ("frequency independent"). The strong plastic housing and the wire-mesh outer grille of the D 550 protect the transducer system from damage. The outer grille and a layer of special fabric beneath it form a very effective windscreen to suppress pop and wind noise. An integrated stand adapter provides for precise microphone alignment with the instrument. And here is a pic Thanks for looking Raggy
