1.
Do you mean the extra plug on your daisy-chain cable? You should be able to leave that unconnected - I would just roll it up and tape it down to the board. The plugs on a daisy-chain cable are in parallel with one another rather than in series, so having one fewer device to power won't cause any problems. It's not like removing one bulb from a string of fairy lights.
Thats great, I'll just leave it unplugged then. Thank you. If i add a tuner, and use the last plug for that, presumably i don't need to take power out of the tuner then, to complete a loop? The tuner will just act as the last powered piece? I'm getting there, tahnks.
 2. OK, here's i think, an easy one to answer, and i think I'm having a blonde moment with this!! Having used little or no effects forever (Never needed them), I've decided, now i have more time to play at home, to get a pedalboard, and start seeing what stuff does. Here's a pic of what i've just bought, boss pedalboard and 5 old 80's pedals, what they are is irrelevant. Here's the question. The power link chains send the power in and out, i get that. But the last pedal on the board (in this case missing, but you get the idea), has a cable in, and a cable out. Where do i plug the cable out? If the tuner is in the board, where it fits, top right, then i guess it would go in there, but then the tuner would need an out loop wouldn't it, but to where?? I've taken the other cables out of the way for clarity of picture. This sounds obvious, but I'm missing something bleeding obvious here?? It's just the power link i have the problem with, the guitar/board/amp bits i'm ok with.....i think! Can anyone put me out of my misery.......PLEASE? Thanks in advance, for any help at all. Rick
 3. Worth watching, just to see what those offers were, when it ends. What's the betting they are all under $10!!
 4. Nice old Jazz, I'm sure it plays and sounds fab, but big money for a pretty worn '64, in my opinion.
 5. Unsurprisingly, 'the one' for me, is the '52;
 6.
Hey Joe - where you goin' with that bun in your hand?
I'm going down to shoot my old lady, y'know I caught her messing around, with another flan.
 7. Getting back on thread...just for a moment...this is some rare footage of Jimi playing live with a Gibbo SG Custom.
 8.
but the question we really need answering is... Did Jimmy call it a Skon or a scone?
Like a Rollin' Scone. Definitely not skon!
 9.
¿Qué?
"No sabes ni la mitad !!" "You don't know the half of it !!" (Nice inverted question mark by the way!)
 10.
You're a dark horse Rick, and no mistake!
No sabes ni la mitad !!
 11. Hola Max, Buenos Tardes! Que' tal estas?. Bienvenida a Basschat.
 12.
Ha ha, me too. Obviously...
Me too. The Doors were another late 60's combo to set up on stage. I remember seeing footage of one of their gigs (Also in Northern Europe I think....it'll come to me??), where the drummer spent almost the entire 1st song setting up his kit, they just started without him! Brilliant! Woodstock was another one, absolutely chaotic for the most part, although trying to organise 1000's of musicians, who are all off their tits, in amongst half a million crowd members, equally off their tits, in awful weather conditions, I think they did a pretty good job, and it's nothing short of a miracle that it happened at all! Different times, and expectations methinks. Everyones a critic these days too, one mistake, and it's all over youtube, every internet news site going, and lord knows where else. Also, and important I think, in them days, the audience were the only ones who heard it, and they just wanted to be entertained, and have a good night.
 13.
how long before rick turns up....
It's a lovely little amp, and good price too, not many good old tweed amps around on these shores either. It's just a little small for me. Now, if it was another Bassman, I'd be all over it!! Not far from where I'm working either. Mmmm.....
 14.
Actually, as a point of order, as a 'born-again-Christian' I have a pretty thick skin and, despite, it seems, what some think, I am no more or less offended by bad language etc than anyone else. But when people use 'Jesus!' etc as a swear it cuts me to the core.
Hence the strike-through. Whilst some words don't offend you, they may well offend others, in the same way that Jeez may offend you, but not others. I think the intent is far more important than the words themselves. Anyway, this is getting off-topic. I thought we'd finished on this vain.
 15.
Come now, everyone else is moving on, time for you to do the same! ;0)
I did.....4 hours ago!
 16.
Ref the moronmod comment, I've just had Bruce Foxton phone me up in tears, saying he no longer felt welcome on the forum. :-) CB
See, i knew it would all end in tears!!
 17. I've watched BIN's before, because i think the seller has started high, will realise after 3 days he's pitched it high, only to lower the BIN considerably, if you 'aint watchin', but you're interested, then it could go elsewhere. This happens more often than you think, less so, since the 'best offer' option appeared, but its a regular thing. I also watch things that I'm curious about what the current market price is, keeps you up to date.
 18.
*offers Rick his coat, then hugs him*
19.
why has someone tippexed the price onto the fretboard ? they've gone and ruined it now.
I'd be looking for a quality gig bag thrown in for that price! OK, I'm going, no need to throw me out........
 20.
*blows Rick a raspberry*
Don't worry bluejay, I've had worse than that today on this thread!!! *blows friendly kiss to bluejay* (No icon found!)
 21.
I win - I claim my £5
Be careful, apparently you're not allowed to include basses that could be owned by anyone on here, for fear of offending..................and that is a very offensive bass! (please tell me it's a photoshop job, and it's not real?)
 22.
It's in reference to a previous situation where I ballsed up as a mod on here and got called (fairly deservingly) a moron.
Yet you feel the need to permanently display it, even at the risk at offending those with genuine mental illness, or deficiency, despite having such strong opinions on such a subject? OK, enough, we could go on and on, I think you were being massivley over-sensitive and humourless, but my point is made. But let's move on, life's short. It's still an ugly bass............. (D'oh.........promised I'd resist!)
 23.
Yep, a direct comment against someones state of mind seems pretty abusive.
I see you making these comments, yet the statement above your avatar, that I've just noticed "Moronmod", surely that could offend someone? According to dictionary; Moron. Psychology . Considered offensive, a person of borderline intelligence in a former and discarded classification of mental retardation, having an intelligence quotient of 50 to 69. Not that I give a sh*te, just an observation.
 24.
Yep, a direct comment against someones state of mind seems pretty abusive.
Someone's state of mind?. C'mon don't be [s]dumb[/s] (Sorry, offensive), [s]stupid[/s] (oops, and again), naive (hopefully safe?), can you get some context...oh, and humour. [s]Jeeez[/s] (Abbreviation of something probably offensive in your world, so probably should strike it out!).
 25.
Oh, come on Charic, when someone is brave enough orders a guitar that looks like that (and you've go to really want it as I imagine it was a small fortune and took a while to make) they'll be wanting to draw attention to themselves and so also be brave enough to stand up to people's remarks of favour or otherwise. I doubt the owner would be offended, at least I wouldn't be if it was me, and I'm not brave enough to order a guitar like that - even if I could play it.
This. thankyou.
