    Hi it was a fretted one originally.

    backside p.s. the tone switches are on the side of the pickups. Indeed, big sound. Especially the E (=active) electronics does it.

    Best Wal Headstock. 2 pickup version, gives the wal sounds you need. The E - stands for active electronics.
