3.
All the more reason to get yourselves along and chew the fat! (...Dave isn't fat. It's just a figure of speech.)
Can we chew him anyway?
 4. Have you tried pressing F2?
not used it for a week or two turned it on this morning, all working fine except transport panel does not appear anyone else had this? advice much appreciated
5. Sounds like it could be only one or two things to me... First try going into the Project tab and opening Project Settings. Within here there is a Length section, if this is set to 15 seconds then that is your problem (this would be very unusual) anyway set it to something like 1 hour and click OK. Other than that it could be that the drive you a recording to has limited space available, it should tell you at the very bottom of the project window how much time you have available for recording based on the number of tracks you are recording/sample rate etc.. Check firstly that you have ample disk space, then check that you aren't record enabling more tracks than necessary. Let us know if you're still having problems...good luck!!
 6. Now surplus to requirements and selling to fund another cxl112/nl210 cab. I expect you all know the quality of these amps, very transparent and powerful little things! It comes with the EA padded gig bag too which provides decent protection for the usual back of the car trip to the gig. My amp is in pretty good condition for it's age (about 5 year old) with just a few scratches on the top as seen in the photos. Any potential buyers would be welcome to come and try it out before committing to buy, I'd also be willing to ship it at the buyers expense (in it's gig back then bubble wrapped and boxed for added protection). Power: 350 watts rms @ 4 ohms, 1200 watts peak Weight: 14 lbs Size: Small?? I'll measure it if you need to know... Open to offers...here's some pics...also got them up here. 7.
Hey mate thats really nice. By the way - how are the Assembly Rooms going?
Hi John, good to hear from you. Assembly rooms gigs are going well thanks, bit of a wild one tonight though, felt a bit dodgy leaving the PA and all the gear (except instruments of course!) behind but there were plenty of burly bouncers knocking around like... I am currently using a Squier JV precision for the gig and loving every minute of it!!
 8. Hello everybody, Looking to trade my SR5 for something more jazz like, preferably another 5 string but could possibly be swayed! My Stingray was born in Feb 2000 and as you can see from the pics is a beautiful natural example (the nicest finish in my opinion) in remarkable condition for a near 9 year old bass. There are one or two tiny marks on the back (which you cannot see when photographed) which are just small dents in the lacquer, and the obligitary dings in the end of the headstock (as pictured) caused by low ceiling/idiot owner syndrome which incidentally cannot be seen from the front or rear of the headstock. Nothing out of the ordinary for a bass of this age. Sounds and plays beautifully as you would expect of an SR5. 11. Hi Jay, This bass has been great for the past couple of months but when a Stingray 5 came along at a silly price I just had to take it!!
 12. I think it is! Thought I'd hoy it on cheap to see if I could drum up some holiday money :-)
 13. Hi, I bought this off jay249 to fill an interim period when I was between basses and it has served it's purpose very well. Now I have acquired a Stingray and it's got to go. It has had upgraded Bartolini pups and preamp and also an ABM bridge. It is a very nice playing bass with a decent range of sounds. Looking for just £150 which is £20 less than I paid for it two months ago AND it has had a much needed setup. Thanks, Sean. 14. I'm not sure where you guys get that a quad core is noisy from?? I run a Q9300 with a passive heatsink, it is neither hot nor noisy!! I would avoid overclocking like the plague, you will not need the extra headroom this provides, also along with the extra power comes greater instability...the last thing you want in a DAW... +1 here for the Antec P182. It is fantastic, very quiet and also very large making the build an awful lot easier than some cases. Make sure you spend a decent amount of money on a good power supply, possibly the most underrated component of the lot. You can get some good passively cooled graphics cards too, so unless you want to run games you can minimise noise here also. I would also advise to get the most poweful and up to date (intel) processor within your budget, otherwise you will be upgrading in what seems like no time..
 15. It's obviously in good condition for a shaft, he says so... It's probably in better condition than my shaft.
 16.
For those of you into statistics I've taken the Regions as per Governmental guidelines and these are the scores so far: North East: 1 North West: 2 Yorks & Hum: 5 East Mids: West Mids: East Eng: 1 London: South East: 7 South West: 2 Wales: 1 Scotland: 1 N.
