1. Bump! Make me an offer if you're interested, would love to get it gone in the next 24 hours if I've got to get rid of It! (which I unfortunately really must. )
2. Sold Ben my Dingwall AB1. Great guy to deal with! Very quick payment, great communication and just a lovely chap. Would happily and willingly deal again.
3. I think I bought it in 2011. Was used infrequently as a recording studio amp before I had it, and just infrequently since I've had it! I'd say no older than 5 years.
4. Cash preferred. However, Yamahas of the upper end of their range would be considered, as would other Dingwalls, Warwick Starbasses (all varieties) and great micro heads. An unlikely list, I must confess, but thats about all I'd be interested as I'm very happy with what I've got.
5. Just bought a Lee Sklar signature Dingwall from Warren. He clearly looks after his stuff! Great guitar, very good communication and ensured he did everything we could to get the deal done in the end. Thank you very much, Sir.
6. Thank you Sir! Now back up for sale, Sklar in hand.
7. Right you are haha! A small edit needed I think...
8. Squire Bronco Bass Black £100 Squire bronco bass in black. Selling for a friend who assures me it's in perfect condition and hardly played. Short-scale ([s]32" I believe[/s], 30" - thanks Evil Undead!), single pickup, suitable for whatever you want to do with it! Also comes with hard case and strap. He's based around Newbury, and will want collection only. Apologies. Let me know if you're really keen but out of range, i'll see what i can do about shipping. Thanks for looking!
9. Mesa Big Block 750 in Head Case with Original Foot-switch [s]£575[/s] SOLD and gone this time! Buyer pulled out, back up! Recently serviced and lovely Big Block 750. In the £200 extra Mesa head case to make it look the part on top of cabs, and looks great! Great power through my Barefaced BT2 and that great, weighty, authoritative sound synonymous with the M-Pulse series. Dedicated OD channel which i'd say is closer to the Sheehan style of OD. This can be switched in with the foot-switch which has both "Overdrive" and "Tuner mute" switches. Was used in a studio before my ownership and then only used for the 'big gigs' in my possession. The head case it clean and unmarked with some solid spring loaded handles on the sides for your convenience. Low price because I really need to recoup some cash ASAP. Based in Maidenhead, between Reading and Slough. Collection preferred, but as always happy to arrange shipping etc. but would have to be at the buyer's expense with this one given how cheap it is already! Thank you for looking! <script src="safari-extension://com.ebay.safari.myebaymanager-QYHMMGCMJR/97a81ed5/background/helpers/prefilterHelper.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
10. If I hadn't just bought a Lee Sklar Dingwall, I'd be all over this! Bump for a great bass!
11. Withdrawn, been let down on the Sklar. Apologies to all those interested. This may be back up for sale though, depending on the result of the search for my AB1 replacement.
12. Haha! I hope I still have some nice basses Your afterburner is VERY pretty though! Tuesday and it will be in your hands!
13. I'll be there! The appearance at GAK on the tuesday was already full up when I messaged them on monday so I imagine decent attendance for PMT's. Particularly with the overflow from the GAK show, like me!
14. Dingwall ABZ4 Trans Indigo Burst £1125 This is the guitar I said I'd never part with. Unfortunately, heading off to university and having to cull the herd has left me with no choice but to sell this fine example of Sheldon's work. On the bright side i've replaced 2 Afterburners with one Lee Sklar signature. This bass is an absolutely tremendous gigging bass, having used it at gigs all over. It's incredibly light weight at 7lbs 10oz yet has incredible sustain and resonance. The finish is beautiful and makes you want to touch it! Similarly the neck profile is great and one of the most comfortable basses I've ever played, and as ever, the tension is even and makes playing more consistent across the 4 strings. It also has a hipshot D-tuner on the E allowing for a great low tuned experience with the 36.25 inch scale on the bottom string. This is probably one of the most 'famous' (kinda!) Dingwalls in the UK, this very example sitting atop Bass Direct's Dingwall page, on the banner, and having been featured and reviewed in BGM. I am happy to include the copy of the magazine with the review of this bass if you do not have it already. It's in great condition with a couple of very minor marks which aren't visible with this finish and take a lot of looking for! No chips. I did suggest colouring in any damage to the bass, I never actually got around to such practice as it was never necessary, so all original and no cover ups with this one. Most obvious is a bit of wear on the pickup covers where the Dingwall logo is fading a bit, but to be expected. Based in Maidenhead, betwixt Reading and Slough, but moving to Bath on the 19th if that helps anyone. Similarly shipping can be done but collection is preferred. Thank you for looking! 15. Dingwall ABI 5 Whale-pool burst [s]£1525[/s] SOLD! Following a deal with a fellow Basschatter for a Dingwall Lee Sklar, my beautiful ABI is now for sale. I have owned it for the past 2 years and it has been a great servant and one which has suited all sorts of occasions. It was also my first ever 5 and has truly converted me to only ever owning Dingwalls for my 5 string needs. It's a passive instrument with the great variety of tones offered by the "Rotary Pickup Selector" as found on all Canadian Dingwalls, offering 4 combinations of how the pickups are wired. It has the renowned Dingwall B string and incredibly even, balanced strings. There are a couple of marks tiny on the bottom edge and one on the top, but you have to look very hard to find them. Based in Maidenhead between Reading and Slough, and soon to be moving out to Bath, so if either those locations is helpful for you I'm happy to meet up or have you round. Collection is very much preferred, but shipping could possibly be arranged. Given my purchase of the Sklar, no trades please, but happy to listen to reasonable offers. Thank you for looking! (More pictures to follow!)
