1. I use 3 TC heads, a Blacksmith, RH750 and a BH250 and use them daily for a few hours at a time. The BH probably gets used most frequently and it gets shoved in and out of my gig bag multiple times a day for rehearsals and is yet to let me down (having bought it at Christmas). None of these heads have yet let me down and I'm very confident in TC's gear, particularly having come from Mesa amps which were horrifically unreliable for me. Construction is also very solid on all 3 of my heads, no rattles and solid throughout. The BH sometimes comes up as underpowered in bigger rooms with a Barefaced Midget, but that's running at 8 ohms and 165w. Having played through the BH550 I'm pretty sure power won't be an issue and I too was very impressed with them. They're also truly rated I believe unlike the RH and Blacksmith, not that the whole TC power rating discussion ever bothered me having experienced the quality and volume of the BS and RH. Construction is also very solid on all 3 of my heads, no rattles and solid throughout. Buy with confidence!
2. Apologies markstuk, it's winging its way to Germany! SOLD
3. Sound clips of the actual bass added to the post at the top and below, and new picture of the rash having been polished out. 4. I have a couple of isolated bass tracks I could publish from one of my bands - Though they're all in quite a similar vein. I'm happy to make a quick demo which I may just do now!
5. Bump! Slight rashing on the first picture has now been polished out - picture in daylight tomorrow.
6. Dingwall Lee Sklar Signature - [s]£2650[/s] £2500 SOLD Despite not having long had it, and selling off many a Dingwall in the process of acquiring it, the tone is not quite right for me. Thus, now armed with (previously) Gary Mac's Super P, I offer up this beautiful bass. It was bought in September from fellow Bass-chatter 'hiram.k.hackenbacker' and was in great condition then. Since then it has had a new set of strings put on it and the setup adjusted to my liking, and remains in the same condition, unmarked and beautifully playable. The neck is incredibly slim and quick as anything. This bass sounds great recorded and absolutely cuts through the mix live, and I can easily understand why this bass is Mr. Sklar's go to bass on tour. You can hear yourself no matter what! The bass comes with a Dingwall gig bag and accompanying tools. As it stands this bass is £500 cheaper than new from Bass Direct and is in just as good a condition. In terms of trades, a Darkglass Vintage Microtubes Deluxe or Duality (or both!) could definitely be welcomed as part of the deal. A Dingwall Super J could also become part of the equation in both 4 or 5 string permutations. I'm based in Maidenhead or Bath and viewing can be arranged at either of these locations, or a short distance from them. Shipping is also available but fees would need to be discussed. Thank you for looking! 7. Just bought a Dingwall Super P from Gary. A mighty fine chap, who is incredibly warm and welcoming. The bass was exactly as described and despite my 40 minutes noodling about (poorly I might add!) he was incredibly patient, not in the slightest pushy and willing just to talk bass until I was 100% happy with it. His communication prior to my arrival was top notch and incredibly clear. I have left a very happy customer and with a great bass to boot. Thank you once again, an absolute pleasure to deal with.
8.
I've just looked them up. There seems to be a few different models. Which ones do you have?
That would be a pair of these: http://www.amazon.co...n/dp/B009QV15DU (Edit: Apologies didn't realise a v2.0 had been released! But yes i'm on the 1.0's)
9.
Open to reasonable cost really. Not into several 100's though:)
My Sennheiser Momentum over-ears are stunning in my opinion. They are significantly more expensive than those above but worth it in my opinion. Use them daily and they never disappoint. And they only sit at a couple of 100's rather than several.
10. Blackstar HT20 1x12 Combo [s]£250[/s] Price drop £200 Bought new in 2012/13 from Andertons. Used infrequently and probably for fewer than 30 hours since it was purchased. Very versatile amp and plenty loud enough, just a bit much for how infrequently I play guitar. 2 Channel with foot switchable overdrive (footswitch included). A couple of scratches on corner protectors, as well as on the side of the tolex and a little dent/scuff on the front. However, these are all very small and unremarkable. Would love to offer shipping, but due to the weight and delicate nature of this being a valve amp, collection only. The amp can be viewed in Maidenhead, or if pre-arranged, in Bath. Thank you for looking! 11. What an exemplary BC'er! Great communication, quick personal delivery and all for an incredibly reasonable price on his Yamaha TRB6-II. Deal with confidence, one and all!
12. Stunning! I got here 7 hours too late...
13. I second the Hercules' working very well indeed!
14. It is indeed and has been sold now, yes. It was sold elsewhere, so thank you for bringing my attention to this so I can change it, haha!
