12. Hey guys. Time to get rid of some more stuff from my mighty heap of gear! My 1x15 has to go, its not been used out at gigs for months and isnt needed in my current position. I've tested it over the weekend, and its still as loud and thumpy as it ever was!!! I can post some copies of recording i've done with this cab, its got a really heavy tone (great pbass companion!) Pm me for more info on samples! Specs: German made high quality warwick w115 1x15 cab. bought from the bass centre in 2005, cost £400 at the time. has been kept in a flightcase when gigging, but this cab has seen little action outside of my bedroom. The cab is in A1 condition, no scratches or rips in the paintwork and carpet. speaker is clean and in tidy condition, never been ragged!!! will posted some pics later on, but heres the deal: Make me the offer, you might get the cab at good price???
13. hey dude!! I'm on here too!! hope your well!!! Johnzy
14. i would say that a sadowsky metro would do the job! the thing with warwick is that the jazz pickups are not true single coils, and are hum cancelling! this gives the big clear tone, similar to that of EMGs. they sound very little like a true jazz bass. heres the tone of warwick stage II, very typical tone of warwick. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=VE4dCeNk5U8&...feature=related The sadowsky basses have the humcancelling jazz style pickups but also have the growl and active eq. they are also good quality and well priced!
15. Doug Rauch's modified Jazz bass, Jaco's Bass Of Doom, Reddie Freddie's P-Bass!
16. I would probably be playing this bass by now if my pm was responded to!! its a shame because it looks like a nice bass! and is at a good price!
17. any pics for us peeps??

19. well is it??? 4+1 or 5?? always wanted a jazz this colour after seeing jaco's baby blue jazz!!
20. does this have the 5 peg outlay or the 4 + 1 design on the headstock? I hate the 5 in a line design!!!! would be very tempted is it was 4+1!!!!!
21. guess your enjoying that beastly german cab then mate!! what amp did you get to go with it? 1x15 is still here! so guys pm me!
22. Nick was using musicman and warwick basses when he first joined jamiroquai, the first tour he managed to pickup a white passive Zon bass, then he got the yamaha sponsership. I've seen this bass about before, it was on the ebay with a picture of nick holding it in a control room somewhere. it still doesnt mean that nick owned this particular bass! its all kinda weird artist instruments, everyone here would probably kill for the "bass of doom" or "funkmachine", and that i understand. but why £800 for an ex band members so called instrument. nick is still playing, he does a bit of teaching at guitar/bass-X every so often. he's playing with hard-fi on a session basis. their bassist isnt allowed back into america due to drugs charges, so nick goes on tour with them.

Sandberg

I use to own a sandberg, and have to say it was kinda of a mistake selling it off. the basses are made really well and have some cool design features. the tone is a little dull to say the least, but its just like an other lakland or sadowsky i've heard. I'm surprized your not going after something really huge in the metal tone, ala EMG'ed Spectors or Warwicks. I would recommend the warwick streamer lx jazzman, if you can put up with the neck size and weight. they have mm and jazz pickups fitted and generate some serious killer tones. The ibanez ATK is a really hot bass and its dead cheap. hope you find something you like!
