  1. I thought it was pictures of ladies with nothing on.
  2. I've just realised I don't think I know what clickbait actually is 🤣🤣🤣 No wonder I didn't understand the problem
  3. I confess I click on on all their videos regardless as I enjoy the content. Out if interest what is it about this one in particular you didn't like?
  4. Tobacco and black. My vote is with @DoubleOhStephan. What a killer combination.
  5. Haven't had access to the garage so can't get in the shed. I'll get to it ASAP. Apologies for the delay, to those of you enjoying the thread.
  6. Andy, your work is sublime. You've literally transformed the instrument. I followed all the steps (thanks to the clarity of your explanation) so grasp the tangible. However it is the magical which floors me. I admit to not being keen on the shape when I first saw it. But, without altering the essential contours at all, you have somehow transformed it. I now love the shape. That, sir, is genius.
  7. Joking aside, the pipe down the throat sounds absolutely hideous. So glad you got through it.
  8. Trust a bloody guitarist to think those two basses look remotely alike! Congrats. There is always a buzz off a new bass. But that feeling of utter indulgence when getting two is something special.
  9. Don't know how they've passed me by. Unless maybe it's something to do with me hoovering up every last Harley Benton on the planet. Kind of found my brand 😅
  10. If I had to fix to a stud wall I would fix a batten to the studwork and the hangers to the batten. No danger that way.
  11. My god, your first natural fart must have been a thing of splendour
  12. Thanks for the reply. I couldn't quite picture how it mounted on the bass. I guess it all depends on the model of the instrument. Clever idea though.

It's getting silly now. I'm buying the ones I don't want and they're still great
  14. Ah good point I made a mistake. Used my Bruce Thomas Profile precision which has a crazy hot pick up. My bad. Should do again with a standard pbass
  15. The one I've got was onl;y like 45 quid second hand so this one must be amazing. Wonder if it's made by those people that do the 5G protector memory stick
  16. Damn they're out of stock
  17. @Salt on your Bass? here you go, passive p-bass, T and V full up, into Elf into Ashdown 112, recorded through mic. Green light up to number three then green amber flash then red flash by the last two.
  18. Oh and thank you all so much for your continued support with this.
  19. I should have asked more questions before rushing to buy my trussrod, lesson learnt. If my CFS allows me to get out to the shed today I will bear in mind all the points raised, take measurements and pictures, then report back.
  20. Coming a little late to this party. Only sig bass I have is the Bruce Thomas Profile. I knew one day I would have one the moment it appeared. He is my number one bass hero so it was a bit of a no brainer. I really agonised over altering it in any way but then remembered what he said on his blog post - "Of course, you may disagree with some of my reasoning and want to tweak your bass in some way or another, which I hope you do."
  21. Ha! I was teasing. You know when you have a keeper though don't you? I think we often buy basses because they're beautiful, the problem is that they're all beautiful!
  22. That's stunning. Nice to hear from a Basschatter who will never buy another bass again. Rare breed! Enjoy.
  23. Always been a Servisol man myself. But only if a fast wiggling of the pot doesn't do the trick. Quick squirt on a suitable cloth excellent for cleaning specs too.
  24. Classic understated response from the judge.
