3. it certainly caught my eye when i had a GAS attack a year ago - id already had TRB so i knew what i was getting and just went for it pretty much on looks (yes shallow i know) well it does have just one tiny flaw but i prefer to think of it as an "identifying mark" - on the top horn there is a small orange fleck about 1mm long which is actually a mark in the grain of the wood oh sorry forgot to post in the original - stagg hard case thrown in for this price

 9.
That's just made it even worserer. I need to leave early and get home to find out what this is all about. Dave
...and... ?
 10.
When you can't see what's getting talked about your mind conjures up many weird and wonderful things.
think boutique bass meets manga hello kitty
 11. bump the measurements were taken from the scanned image not from me holding a ruler or tape against the item btw (which i would argue with my cad/illustrator knowledge is more accurate than eyeballing a measuremnt with a ruler! but nonetheless still open to 'interpretation' as to where you place your start and end points for measuring - if you print the image you should have an accurate 1:1 scale to be able to take measurement from)
 12. just seen an ampeg bass baby 100R - 2nd hand up for £229 - not sure what the going rate is - looked in clean good condition cash converters chatham just sharing - sorry no further details
 13.
I think some semi-pro bands have ideas far above their station about what they actually do and some of them are very misguided about how good they are and what they sound like.
having done a few function band auditions just lately id say this +1 some have been fine and i would have accepted if they had offered but some were just a bunch of egos riding the 'function band reputation' and even if i had been offered would have politely declined
 14.
Steve, you know too much about this
... as leschirons said earlier ... he is probably one of the most discussed bass players on here everything i know - i learn from basschat edit - in fact if any mods are reading this then they really ought to consider setting up a separate subgroup for the HJ threads
 15.

he's Korean btw
 16. i sent him a message a while ago and a link to basschat he might be on here 'incognito'
 17. this is a scanned image - is actual size at 600dpi so if you print it out without any size adjustment you should be able to measure from it pic direct link is http://bigblueballoon.net/p-neck.jpg edit- have removed pic embed as i think the size was causing browser issues

 23.
Just realised that in ... hang on, quick calculation... 38 years of playing bass I've only played one cover. It was Badge, the Cream ditty, eons ago. Am I missing out? Judging by the videos you lot have posted I might be.
most excellent! from henceforth all songs/tunes/numbers etc are to be referred to as Ditties
