1. Thunder Valley Rocks is a new TV series based around new and upcoming bands. We will be filming a pilot for a new 9 episode series in November/December of this year and the subsequent episodes will begin filming early next year. Over an initial four week period we will be auditioning 20 bands to appear in the pilot show which will feature the best 5 bands from the auditions. Further auditions will take place later in the year for the remaining episodes with the last show being a finale when 8 bands will compete to win an exclusive slot in one of next years music festivals. We are looking for applications from original unsigned bands who would like to appear on the show and are ambitious enough to play a major festival. Thunder Valley Rocks will take place at Thunder Valley in the stunning Amber Valley, Derbyshire which is a long established Rock and Bike Club which as well as hosting some great bands also hosts fantastic bike and car events bringing up to 20,000 visitors per month. Each episode will also feature well known celebrity music guests who give some insight into their past success and talk about what they are doing now. These guests will also be appraising the bands’ performance, offering tips and advice and finally between them they will choose one band who will win the chance to play live at one of the UK's big festivals The programme will be relaxed with celebrity music guests, including Malcolm Allured, sitting on sofas and discussing the bands, their potential and their talents as well as reflecting on their own past experiences and success stories. Their will be some flashbacks of the guests performances and discussions about how they finally made it to the big time. Toyah has agreed to present the show and we have some fantastic guests lined up - check the website for details. Once the series starts there will be a further audition process to find the 5 bands needed for each show. At the end of the series the "Best" band as decided by the celebrity guests at the finale will be invited to perform at one of the UK's big music festivals. 6. I love the Who - I did think the start was a bit ropey but 3 songs in - they still have it! You couldn't replace the sheer volume of Entwhistles playing - I saw them him live a few years ago and it just fills the place - couldn't be replicated by Pino - Daltrey and Townsend probably would want it replicated anyway!
7. Is the Man the Ramparts still for sale?
8. I first gigged in my teens back in Scotland in a variety of pretty crappy punk bands - was always very nervous unless suitably lubricated and then I don't remember whether I was nervous or whether the gig was any good or not! It was great fun but ridiculous! Moved abroad and didn't play for quite a few years - got into it again when I got back here 5 years ago and my enjoyment, ability, stagecraft and lack of nerves is at another level - I feel very comfortable gigging and can't get enough of them - just starting an original rock band as well as my Foos Tribute as I really want the additional challenge of writing original material - will be difficult to get great gigs like we get in the tribute but I am looking forward to it! Rock on
9. I have had the G90 rack mount for a couple of years now - got it as we were playing big stages at Butlins (LOL) and they are fantastic. I have tried several different makes but for Bass - nothing comes close. I also like the convenience of being able to switch guitars easily if you have two transmitters as you literally swap guitars and press one button on the rack mount and it switches over - and it's cool that each transmitter can have any name you want! They are a reasonable amount of money - if you want the top end rack mount G90 but definitely a worthwhile investment.

18. Selling my favourite precision - this has been my number one bass for the last few years, it has a great feel, those of you who know precisions well - they do feel different depending on the particular bass - this just feels right, weight is great and the neck is a joy to play. It's had a pro set up about a month ago. I have a new Nate Mendel signature that is now my number one and this one needs to be sold. It has a small chip on the edge and a small one next to the neck that are shown on the photos, apart from that it is close to mint. You will notice it has a hipshot detuner fitted which is available as an extra for £45 if you want it. If not I will keep it for one of my other basses and put the original tuner back on that I have kept. My basses are all well kept so you will not be disappointed. Prefer collection but have a box I could post it out in if you really can't collect, I do gig around England so it might be possible to meet depending where you are?
