1. Damn, I thought there was a few days left on the auction, I was gonna bid last minute!
2. So, is this sold yet?
3. £436.50! Pick me pick me!

6.
As if you're this sad
Corrected.
7. Haha, you're making it very hard for me...
8. Edited so as not to upset him
9. Whatever, best of luck with your sale, Its not worth starting arguing I dunno if it's just that you aren't used to the forum, but it doesn't tend to be a case of 'get the best price' it works more like you state a price you want, someone offers to give you it, a sale is made, that's why it says you have to put a price, not just invite offers in an attempt to start a bidding war. For what it's worth, your bass looks lovely, and I think £400 is a good price, but if you ask for that, and get offered that, then what more do you want? Inviting higher offers is a different kettle of fish to giving it more time in case of a UK buyer. (point still stands)
10. Right you are! Point still stands.
11. But you said higher offers, not UK buyers. If I was the one who made the full price offer plus postage I'd be a bit annoyed that you were looking for better offers and tell you to stuff it, but maybe that's just me...
12.
I have already had an offer of £400 + p&p for this bass now, so if you are interested then please message me quickly with a similar/higher offer
That's pretty dodgy mate, this isn't eBay!
13. Dunno why this thread is getting such a slagging, it's just someone trying to spark some conversation, and at 4 pages and rising, surely that's what a forum is about?
they play what is needed in the song & very little else.
To me, that's what a bass player should be really, to play and lay down what the song needs to drive it or make it groove and get people moving. I've never had any time for fretw***ery and unnecessary slapping when it can detract from the song, just cos the player 'can'. That's my opinion, and I'm sticking to it!

18. Find me a bass amp that gives me the same 'I've just thrown my Nintendo out of a window' tone that I have been known to use and love and then maybe I will rethink why I need pedals...
