1. Congrats! Agree about the late 70's P's. my '79 is lovely
2. Blimey, a 25 minute bump! Gotta be a record! I'm gonna have to get me one of these again sometime. I miss mine.
3. It's there right now, but in storage till hopefully the 7th or 8th.
4. I'm still flogging a 2x15 cheap enough to experiment and decide yourself
5.
No, the topic has become about how gentlemanly Basschat is. On some other forums you would have been verbally ripped to pieces. With respect, you are showing a distinct lack of respect to Basschat members by putting £325 on the asking price of a bass you bought 2 weeks ago. Good luck with your sale. Karl.
Summed up.
6. I can't see a JV serial on the neck plate...
7.
I haven't tried the guys at PMT in Salford but hear good reports.
I found the set up I had done there to be unplayable and took it elsewhere to be sorted out ever since. It's always horses for courses though I guess.
8.
This, or a variation of it, is the most commonly used neo twelve: http://www.bluearan.co.uk/index.php?id=EMIDLIT2512&browsemode=manufacturer This, or a variation of it, is what you'll find in BFB twelve loaded cabs: http://www.bluearan.co.uk/index.php?id=EMIKLIT3012LF&browsemode=manufacturer
Ah, Bill Fitzmaurice, the king of not answering a question To the OP - I love my barefaced compact and really really want a '69er, just need the money first
9. Steve Robinson - http://www.manchesterguitartech.co.uk/ I'll be bringing my basses back to manc for set ups once I've moved cos I rate him very highly!
10. Here you go then, Musicman Stingray, was my main bass since Dec 1999 till I started with the 5 string earlier this year - I love it so much that I tried to track down a 5 string in this colour on this forum, but the owner understandably didn't want to part with it... I still want one though. Feel free to offer it to me if you sell one anyone
11.
Shameless plug for my BILs Gretsch double neck guitar/baritone. Thread here http://basschat.co.u..._1#entry1884515 I seem to have deleted the pictures when doing some tidying up of my profile, so here are a couple. Offers around £350...
Had it been bass/guitar I would have snapped it up already
12. I'd love a carvin db630 like the guy out of elteneleven [Img]http://www.carvinmuseum.com/images/yearbyyear/1977/77_db630-large.jpg" class="ipsImage" />
13. Absolutely agree, but the reason I'm interested is to play both during the same songs
14. Anyone play one? More interested in a double neck bass/guitar config rather than bass/bass. How are they to play, and which ones are decent? I probably won't end up pulling the trigger on one, but keep being tempted by the idea
15.
Head 'n choice of SVT610HLF or SVT410HLF £!300 delivered
£300 delivered? Bargain! lol
16.
Looks right, pups changed. Could be a good buy as a player- if I were you and you want it PM the seller, find out if you can go try it and if he/she has a BIN price.
Except it seems these days that everyone loves to message the seller telling them that they have a rare one of a kind worth a chunk of money bass etc...
17. I can't see a pic, but I am interested...
18. Le Bump!
19.
My bass teacher uses his GT10b to send his bass signal to his Mac, so I know it does do this.
Wish I knew when I still had one! lol
20. From my use of the GT10b I don't think that's how it works, the USB is for transferring patches, and updates, and possibly midi control via USB, but I don't expect if sends a bass signal by USB
21. Brill, thanks all, reckon I'll order one of those!
22.
Slightly worrying - if you've paid - that the website will still let me buy it also
Lets all buy it en masse!
23. Really surprised nobody is after this awesome cab!!!
24. Yeah it looks like it'll do the job and keep the amp safe! How's the fit of the amp within it? Does it move around or is it pretty snug? Cheers
25. Cheers, is that this one? http://www.gak.co.uk/en/tc-electronic-rh-450-gig-bag/31512
