    Bass people.. A friend needs a gig-worthy bass combo. It his not his main instrument but he deps on bass in a few bands and needs a decent combo to cope. I am not really conversant with what is good in the £250 max price range. Quick online scan reveals the Behringer BLX3000 or BLX3000a to be good - any thoughts on these? diff btwn alu and non alu speakers. Anything else to consider at this price point? There are alot of 100w-150w combos about at this price or less, but I'm not sure this will cut it for him, hence the Behringers, which are less than £200! He and I woudl be grateful for any thoughts Cheers Chris

    Hi Recent acquisition means that this great head is surplus to my needs, so I am offering it for sale. This head is in super condition. There are a couple of really small cosmetic marks on it, but these are nothing at all major - the photos barely capture them, but just mentioning in the spirit of honesty. 100% working order, no issues at all. I am sorely tempted to keep as a backup, but could do with the money. I need to either sell, or might consider a trade for a Markbass cab. Item is in Nottingham, can post at buyers expense, or you are welcome to collect.     SLIGHT CHANGE - whole rig for sale, or will split. I got these cabs in April this year, and while they are no doubt great cabs they are not for me. LM2 also in great condition - couple of minor scratches, but perfect otherwise. Cabs - I paid £560 for the pair Inc the covers so would accept this or offers. Or will split. LM2 - £400 ono. Whole rig - £900 Rig is in Nottingham for trial or collection, could arrange to meet to deliver etc. PICS lower down. All questions and trials welcome.

    Well, as it says really. Excellent condition, fully working order, no issues whatsoever with the cab or cover. I am based in Nottingham. Could meet someone a reasonable distance away too, or you could collect. This cab sounds absolutely awesome, only selling as most of my work is on guitar nowadays and this beast could be better used elsewhere. I will trade for a smaller cab/s. WHY.     BDDI is always on. Always makes my LM2 sound way better. I only haave the blend at about 40% effect, 60% direct though, just to add a touch of excitement and drive, while retaining the Stingray sound and punch. All oher controls at "noon" except presence which is at around 10 o'clock. And it makes a great DI, superior to the LM2 one.

    Although it sounds awesome, I am thinking of a change, and have always heard good things about the LM2 / GS112 combination. I would intend to get 2 of the GS112 cabs, but just wondered if anyone had compared the Markbass 4*10 cabs with the Aggys? Will 2 12" cabs pump out like a 4*12? What about ONE 12" cab - maybe an unfair comparison. So, would like to see what experiences anyone has before I go for it! Chris
