    Bass people.. A friend needs a gig-worthy bass combo. It his not his main instrument but he deps on bass in a few bands and needs a decent combo to cope. I am not really conversant with what is good in the £250 max price range. Quick online scan reveals the Behringer BLX3000 or BLX3000a to be good - any thoughts on these? diff btwn alu and non alu speakers. Anything else to consider at this price point? There are alot of 100w-150w combos about at this price or less, but I'm not sure this will cut it for him, hence the Behringers, which are less than £200! He and I woudl be grateful for any thoughts Cheers Chris

    Hi Recent acquisition means that this great head is surplus to my needs, so I am offering it for sale. This head is in super condition. There are a couple of really small cosmetic marks on it, but these are nothing at all major - the photos barely capture them, but just mentioning in the spirit of honesty. 100% working order, no issues at all. I am sorely tempted to keep as a backup, but could do with the money. I need to either sell, or might consider a trade for a Markbass cab. Item is in Nottingham, can post at buyers expense, or you are welcome to collect.     SLIGHT CHANGE - whole rig for sale, or will split. I got these cabs in April this year, and while they are no doubt great cabs they are not for me. LM2 also in great condition - couple of minor scratches, but perfect otherwise. Cabs - I paid £560 for the pair Inc the covers so would accept this or offers. Or will split. LM2 - £400 ono. Whole rig - £900 Rig is in Nottingham for trial or collection, could arrange to meet to deliver etc. PICS lower down. All questions and trials welcome.
