    So, i picked up this bass to try and get back into 5's after a few years, and i dont think im ready yet. Just cant get around the narrow string spacing. So its passive, 2 vol, 2 tone. String through which is pretty cool. Its got a lovely quilted top, which seems to have a translucent dark purple finish. Even has a matching headstock. I think the body is a one piece with quilted maple top. Cons: Its got a little pin hole on one of the frets. Dont know how it got there A small circular indentation on the back in the finish There is some fretboard wear, like you see on old maple fretboard telecasters, but rather from a dark rosewood, to lighter. Not sure how. Anyway, here are some pictures: Price, as title, £140 posted. I would do a discount if you picked it up.
