You guys. If I ever build you a bass Mike that's what's going on the headstock.
That made me lol in my office!
My biggest yardstick however, was my g/f who is famously underwhelmed by all the amazing things I build with my own 2 hands. I was just putting the final touches to the cab when she strolled into the workshop rabbiting on about her work or something when she clocked it, stepped back and just gasped... for the first time ever she was genuinly blown away by one of my creations. She was closely followed by my 6 year old who expressed similar astonishment... my proudest moment ever.
Awesome Rich
 4.
For a 22 watt amp to be appropriate it would need to be a very quiet gig wouldn't it ? I know I've played small venues with a 90-watt amp (GK MB150) and sometimes struggled a bit, and I once played a blues jam that povided a 50-watt amp and swore never again. I know speaker efficiency has to be taken into account, but still, I'd have thought that 22 watts was just not up to the job of anything including a drummer ... might work with acoustic guitars, I guess ? Andy
I'm using the 44 Magnum in church into a Hartke 115 (which i leave there) and i don't want for volume at all.

 6. Very good. The blend is very useful as is having bass and treble controls. Sure there are some demos on You Tube
 7. What did you want to trade of mine?

 12. DR Hi Beam Stanless Steels are what i've settled on for my P Basses, and all my basses actually! Been Trailling some SIT Nickels but will go back to the Hi Beams
 13.
IMO having a valve amp for clean is far from pointless. I vastly prefer my current (valve) clean sound to my previous (SS/hybrid) ones.
My all valve head is a Hiwatt so I'm all about tube clean. Best, fattest clean sound i've had.
 14. To answer your Question - Yes! Still got MY Hiwatt Custom but use a Purple Chili Phat Bass to gig with
 15.
they are very well built, but then again, so is a Stingray!
Yours wasn't Sorry Gareth, couldn't resist!
 16. Okay I need to clear out effects I'm not using anymore. Ibanez Weeping Demon wah - Great pedal with a huge variety of tones and tweakability. Comes with original box (although its a bit battered) looking for £60 plus P&P. Ibanez FL9 Flanger - Great sounding flanger with a few paint chips. No box but works fine. Looking for £50 plus P&P for this one. Ibanez TS9B Bass Tubescreamer - The one with the blend. Great condition, no chips and hardly used at home. Never gigged. No box though. Looking for £80 plus P&P. Could do a deal on all three if saomeone wanted them all for £180 inc P&P Trades wise looking for a Phaser really. EHX Small Stone Nano would be cool but open to others or a EHX Neo Clone chorus. Will get some pics up soon. Based in Bath/Bristol if anyone fancied pick up
 17. I'll buck the trend and vote for the GB
