1. Here we have the much respected CV P with a P Retro. Fantastic bass, right up there in build quality with my other fenders. Stock apart from the P Retro. A great Pre amp that charges through the jack socket which in passive mode is classic p but pull the knob and a whole world of tones are at your finer tips. Great condition. This was also the bass used for the photos on the Thomann website and comes with a photo to prove it from Thomann! I'm looking for £300 collected from the Bristol Bath area. I do have a box so could ship at buyers expense.

 9. Yes
 10. I've only used one cab before. Gigging this Saturday with both. I love the sound. Vintage but articulate. When I ran my hiwatt custom and Berg NV412 side by side with the Chili head and cab for the trade in lightness the difference in sound made no difference
 11. Okay so I've had a PCB112NT for a while now and early last year commissioned a Purple Chili fat bass head. The tolex was peeling in my can so I got mike to recover it and update the cab plus I commissioned another one to match it. The cabs are PCB112NT Specials, specials denoting they are fitted with a bass trap to remove some of the muddy frequencies. Anyway I got both cabs back ths week Can't wait to gig it. Both my rig and bass are uk made

 15. Have got some miles on this bass now and I have to say its awesome. Light, fantastic neck and great tones. Really thumps in the mix. Fretboard is beatiful and the black and tort sets it off nicely. Put it through my hiwatt berg NV412 stack at the weekend gig and it rocked!
 16.
[sup][sup]Very nice indeed, What pups did you use?[/sup][/sup]
They are custom wizards. Somewhere between the trad and darker 84 type sounds. They are monster in their sound. Really powerful and thumping and great clarity and treble extension soloing the bridge pup
 17.
True! Not heard these new ones yet. Must admit my amps and cabs are pretty much spot on now so I tend to look at basses which is also now getting to the 'ive got enough' stage.
you must be getting old. It will be children next
