1. John Deacon is pure class - I grew up with Queen and can honestly say that JD is one of those players that, at first, doesnt spring to mind when someone asks you who your idols are - yet everytime I hear a queen song i think "Wow, Deacon is fantastic".
2. The Marcus Miller clinics are awesome - I love his playing....
3. I have been in contact with larry Hartke in the past, and was on the verge of an endorsement with them when ScienceMurdersDreams where doing well - but it never came to be and the band split before I got word back from them. Id love to have a word with Elixir however...
4. Ped, where in Satan's Portion did you discover that Bacchus? Its very nice! The Vigiers are wicked - if heaven was a bass, it would be that fretless.
5.
The guys in the band said they couldn,t hear me!!!!
I bet they now fear for every note you play in anger, just in case they crap out thier intestines from the sheer wall of tube driven Bass that hits them in the face when you play. I bet the crowd get blasted onto the back wall with a rig like that! Nice setup though. I bet your guitarist hates you
6.
Not in London, mate You're in Windsor, jump on a train to Richmond and catch a tube to Stamford Brook.
Crikey, I didnt realise you where that close - will have to arrange a jam/beer at some point soon mr Kiwi...

My kids

That Shuker Jazz is Sexual!
8. Its Different - but I like it. Not sure about the lines though, its got a certain twisted vibe going on, but lovely bass nonetheless.
9. Those two Jazz's are pure bass sex. The Marcus is a right slapper and the Geddy is asking to get fingered. Sorry for the added smut....
10.
These pics were posted on the other sites but here it goes again.
Flippin' 'eck - I take it you work in the demolishon business???!!!
11.
Nice one Luke! Am I dreaming of did you come and buy that cab from me a while back? I seem pretty sure you did
Yes, That is your old 410XL mate! Still a blindingly good cab, just need it to be about 30 Kilos lighter and then I can carry two to a gig.... Loving the Tech 4x10 cab - previously Dood's? Really liked those cabs, might well invest in a pair, but will need to wait quite a while before I get the cash together. If I can find an Epiphani UL410 or 310 I might just change my mind though...
12. Kiwi, i bet if you sold off that collection you could buy a small house! Nice collection, would love to get my hands on your Smiths at some point, never had the pleasure of trying them....
13. Lovely Streamer - just pure sex wood.
14. Im a massive fan of warwick Streamers - my LX5 is fabulous. Lovely bass there mate!
15. Hi All, I thought it would be a good idea to post a thread on the best Lightweight cabs on the market today - including 4x10's, 2x10's, 1x15's, whatever configurations you like, so long as it is a lightweight cab. If people could post a picture and some specs, and maybe a brief review on your experiences with the cab, I think it would make it easier for people to make a decision on buying a cab or deciding upon a cab to suit thier needs. Once we have enough responses, I will make this a sticky. So come on guys, lets get cracking.
16. Pinned/Stickied - Good work Brycey!
17. Heres Mine: Hartke 3500 Head, Aphex AUral exciter C102, Korg DTR 1000, Hartke 410 XL Cab And the "family" shot: My Rig Plus Custom Built Precision, Custom Jazz Bass, and Warwick Streamer LX 5, flanked by my old Yamaha Keyboard for those piano moments....
18. I Have a 6U rack with my Hartke 3500, APhex AUral Exciter, Korg DTR 1000 Tuner and two 1U blanking plates installed. I will be upgrading to a Rack mounted wireless soon so hence why I wanted the space.
19. Guys, Im going to lock this thread as it is a duplicate - can you please post all your fantastic rigs in the Topic shown under "Show Us your Rig" in Bass Porn. Many Thanks!
20. +1000 - My Hartke 3500 has the Groove Tubes 12ax7m in place, and it sounds immense.
21. FWIW, whenever I record I tend to set my Hartke to use an all valve tone, turn the solid state side right down and run a DI from the back of the amp, and let the engineer do the rest.....
22. Not sure about that one - I purposely bought a gain box to get a clean boost, so It wont affect tone or EQ - only the output volume.....
